My freind is getting a new kitten in two weeks. It's a little girl, she's grey with a white tummy and very, very cute! However, we are stumped for names, suggestions very welcome please!

Lelu, Abby (that's my cat's name, I'm biased), Boo, Nala, Sophie.
Sometimes though, even if you name it, their personalities will start to show through and you'll change the name based on that... sometimes they'll do something so cute or funny it will bring up a word and the little kitten will name itself! Wait, did that make sense? I think you know what I mean.

Try using a foreign name or word. I didn't want an English word or name that zillions of other cats have. I wanted to be more unique. My boyfriend and I both lived in Japan for a while and I wanted a Japanese name for our kitten. We were eating at a restaurant with a surf theme (Islands) when my boyfriend came up with Nami, which means "wave" (as in tsunami) in Japanese. It also means "to lick".

the name comes from the invocation at the beginning of William S Buroughs novel 'Cities of the Red Night'. If you read it you will either laugh your *** off or you will be totally disgusted depending on your sense of humour. Nonetheless, it's a cool name for a little kitty cat.

We just got a ginger kitten we were told was a buy so we called it George but then discovered it was a girl now shes called Georga. What about that?
