My cat is fascinated by certain areas of the house. She will sniff around them and meow. We have had termite problems and I am wondering if that's what she's smelling, or if it's something else such as mice.

I do take him for walkies twice at night. But he wants to go out more and I just can't risk letting him out on his own and I can't be out there with him constantly... I have a life too! So, how can I get it accorss to him that twice is ENOUGH?

My cat wee'd on my 100% wool rug, ive tried cleaning it with the usual stuff like soapy hot water, but the smell still remains. Is there something I can use to get rid of it without ruining my rug?

I've been told that when light gets through our pupils in a picture, they become red because we see the blood inside...! What about cats with glowing blue eyes!!!!!!!!??????

This the first time he's done this. He usually has one bowl for wet food, one for dry. We added a new kitten 5 months ago, and they get on famously - she has the same wet/dry food bowls as he does, side by side. But we're wondering why he keeps pawing his dry food out now till it spills to the sides on the floor. Is it because of her bowl next to his?

In other parts of the world it is seem as barbaric torture! there is no excuse, no good reason, it is NOT good for the cat and the only vet that would even consider this disgusting practice is the one who is completely unethical and doing it for the money! Cruel, Cruel, Cruel!

I was wondering whether a cat would be happy in an apartment. I guess the answer is yes. Therefore, I shall rescue a kitten from a shelter this weekend and I won't get it declawed. I can't wait. Thanks for all your help!

My cousin's cat just had kittens and I was considering adopting one to keep my cat company when I'm not home. Is it likely that they will get along? My cat is 4 yrs old and a male so should I get a female kitten? I know some animals feel threatened by other animals of the same sex. I didn't know if that includes cats/kittens. (he's also fixed)

I read it can cause malnutrition, but I don't only give him this. He loves it, it's something different once a week. He does get meow mix kitten dry food regularly, and dental treats. He won't be mal-nourished, will he? He does not like wet cat food, I've tried.

Do you weigh the options in your mind about your eternal security, or do you just shrug it off like it`s no big deal?

Our cat is very wierd, why because when I met my man it was just him and the cat and then the kid every other week. It took this cat over a year to get use to me, and he runs from the kids because they and the dog that he was around tormented him not abusively though, they just wanted to play and didin't realize that they were doing more harm than good. So when I came in to the picture I stopped all that, we have also just bought a new house and I put him on medication so that the move wouldn't be so stressful for him and that seemed to work. Also since we moved he seems to come out more and socialize and we have been in our house now for about 2 months. The problem is that in the last 2 weeks he has been pooping on the carpet and now today it was both the carpet and the floor in the same day, we have already tried to accomadate him and his litter is always clean. SO I'M AT MY WITS END NOW AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TODAY!!! HELP HELP HELP because we are going out bird hunting on SAT.

I just found out that most major cat and dog food makers (especially Iams) do really horrible experiments on cats and dogs in labs to develop their products. This encompasses every brand of food I've ever fed my cats. I want to feed my cats healthy food, but I don't want to give any more money to companies that torture animals. Does anybody know of healthy cat food that doesn't test on animals?
