this is what my dad always did. Buy "sulfa " aka sulfur powder at the drug store and mix it with butter or Vaseline and put it on the affected areas. I promise this works
oh, it works on people too if you get it from the cat. But make sure you dont have an allergic reaction from sulfer drugs.( a lot of antibiotics are sulfer based,) so if you dont know you are allergic to sulfer based drugs,You are probably not.
