I have this young cat that was recently resuced from a tree and given to me. his name is Vincent Price and is male. when we brought him home, we noticed that his nose was runny and that he was skinny. so we fed him and he ate very well and still does. he has put on weight but sneezes alot, and has some difficulty breathing (noisy, congested) he doesnt act lethargic, runs around and plays well with his new companion Gabriel, is a lap cat, and is all around well tempered. The sneezing and bloody mucus is freaking me out and I have no idea how to treat this. or what the cause is. we have had him for over two weeks now and the "kitty flu" scenario seems to be wearing thin, and am afraid its something worse. any ideas?

Hi everyone out there, I've had pets for a long time and have spent alot of money on Vet's for there care. I was wondering if there is a company or company's that offer health insurance for pets? Someone once told me there was but not sure anymore. I asked my insurerer and they didn't know and looked at me like i was weird or something. I'm not going to discontinue paying for the health and well being of my furry family members but some procedures we have had to have does tend to be a little pricey.

I do not want to de-claw her, and have tried a squirt/spray bottle of water. She comes to the screen door and climbs up and tears holes in the material. The spray bottle works for a short time but she returns in a while to repeat.

this morning i went to leave for work, and i as i was shutting the front door my kitten shoved his little fingers into the hinge and got them caught, he screamed like ive never heard before....i took an extra few minutes to see if he was ok and he would run after his toy and snacks ok, but he would hold his paw up high if he was sitting, it seems as if i just caught the end of this paw so i dont think there is any damage since he was still wanting to attack his toys...im just really worried and i feel HORRIBLE! i was actually in tears...thats my little baby aside from my boyfriend (hahaha)...should i take him to the vet, or give it a day or two to see how he's doing?

We can't just put it high so only the cat can use it. Also if something is used will the cat use the litter box?

I set up a website trying to get some street cats rehomed. It has live streaming video of the cats eating at night. I was getting a lot of visits at the beginning, but hte visit numbers are going way down and its been almost 2 weeks and no one has expressed an interest in taking a cat. Should I be discouraged or will it work if I hang in there?

I'd appreciate your opinions.

She is not brushed often because she is very sensitive and hates it. Unfortunately she is fluffy and has fine fur so it has tangled and matted close to her skin. We cut them off last year and everything grew back beautifully, but THIS time they are tight to her skin - too risky. Any suggestions?

I own 2 DSHs I got from the pound, and wouldn't trade them for anything, but my favourite breeds are Scottish Fold and Siamese. How about you?

My 6 year old female cat Angel has two small spongy type knots on each side of her stomach. I seen them tonight. I can't really get a good look at them cause she is kind of hateful and always has been when it comes to trying to hold her. I am going to call the vet in the morning but can't seem to find a lot of information on here about what they might be. She is spayed but she did have one litter of kittens when she was about a year old. She has a healthy appetite and is drinking water but she seems to have lost some weight but not a lot. Also, I hope the vet will work with me on the bill cause I am on medical leave from work at the present time but I already owe him from a cat I have there before. I was thinking it may be swollen lymph nodes. I had a cat who had these before on his stomach but hers on in a different spot. They are on each side of her and his was more in the middle. Thanks again.
