I have two cats-male and female, both fixed. Well, I have two litter boxes, both of the cats will use one to poop in, only poop in. And then the other one they will only pee in. Is this a normal thing that cats do and if not why are my cats weird? Its kinda cook that they do it that way, but I can't figure out why.

The room gets way to cold with door closed, and my kid LOVES her princess canopy. It is sagging and wrecking.

I have tried aluminun foil, and when I catch the cat a spray bottle. I can't stand there with a spray bottle all day

Our new 9-week-old kitten likes to play by jumping out at our feet and hands and using his nails on us. I realize he's just being a kitten, but how can we keep him from doing it to our 1-year-old son? I don't want to keep them apart, since they seem to like each other and I want them to grow up to be good friends. Any suggestions?

I wanted a big fluffy kitty, so I picked a kitten with long hair and now at 5 months she is not fluffy, but her fur is still long... will she get fluffier with longer hair when she gets older? Thanks!

i just brought home a 6 week old kitten last friday. yesterday we discovered she has fleas. we bathed her and combed her and we found and killed about 20 fleas. adult and babies. she has been mostly confined to the bathroom. but she had still had run of the house before we discovered the fleas. what are the chances of there being eggs all over? i also have 2 other cats to whom i just applied some flea killing stuff, but the baby is too young for it. what else can i do to ensure i rid my home of fleas and flea eggs, besides laundry and vacuuming? and will i be able to spot flea eggs on my bedding and furniture?

I took my cat to the vet yesterday (5 months old) and he said that for her age, her teeth didnt look too good and she had bad breath. He didn't really offer a solution though. What could cause that, and what can I do to fix it?

I just found my cat in the closet with one little kitten. We also have another cat and it's a female also and she is being very protective of the other cat(mom) and her baby. I don't want to move them out of there, but is it normal to just see 1 baby kitten?

I'll be moving from CA to PA and I must fly. I've read other forums about sedatives and how they might mess with a cat's body temperature, however, I'm pretty sure my 5 yr old cat will "meow" for the entire flight. Are sedatives safe? Help! Any suggestions on good carriers that will fit under the seat in the cabin of the plane? Thanks!

Last night I found my kitten in the computer room chewing on cords she I loudly clapped my hands and said "Hey!" so she stopped and then continued. This happened a couple of times and she looked really confused every time I scolded her. Finally I took her out of the area of cords by her neck fur and she went completely limp in my arms as if she was paralyzed. Is this normal?

My cat always licks plastic, not any plastic, but plastic bags. He will do this for a long while at a time, 10 or 12 minutes. Is my cat retarted or what?

softclaws work just as well as declawing plus they come in pretty colors. They are recommended by the vet and they are harmless to you animal. Do people just not know about this option?

I know it sounds funny but I seem to be forever fishing him out of it even though I put fresh water down for him every day. I don't want to put the toilet lid down cos that would deprive him completely of water. The little wierdo, why can't he be normal??

I hate the thought of doing this, but it needs to be done to save my house. In the long run it will be worth it.
