The best way is probably to close the bathroom door to make sure he doesn't get in.

My cat used to do this all the time. Even if I left the roll on top of the tank, it would be on the floor in shreds the next morning. When I bought a bathroom set that included a magazine rack, I turned that into a toilet paper holder, and he leaves it alone now. Bonus, you can stock it with tons of rolls so if someone uses one up and forgets to replace it, you're not looking around for a kleenex box.

You can get an older piece of furniture, and cut the side out so that a litter box can fit inside. You have to paint the inside with polyurathene (sp) so that cat urine won't penetrate the inside of the wood. It looks like a piece of furniture, but hides the kitty box and gets the cat out of the bathroom.

You probably can't because it is such fun for your kitty. I solved this problem by removing the toilet paper roll and placing it on top of my towel rack. You can also hang it from your shower curtain rod using a coat hanger or other wire device. I guess this is part of the reason that we love them so much. They are so inquisitive and just love to play. Good Luck!

Hehe... My Tuxedo Cat has this issue also. I just try to rub her nose in it, use my 'bad kitty' voice and give her a light tap on the butt.
Also, don't leave any hanging off the roll - this lessens the temptation.

I'd say the easiest solution would be to keep the toilet paper in a cabinet so he can't reach it.

All that's left that you can do is put the toilet paper away so he can't get to it.

I think that we might have a nther "jinkx" on our hands from the movie " Meet the Parents" I would keep the toliet paper up, when people need to go to the bathroom and they need to use the toliet paper they know where it is.

You have to catch him at it. Then you nip him on the nose and tell him no. You might have to catch him at it and squirt him with a water gun if he still continues. My cat loves all paper. I have had to really stay on top of him to correct this behavior but catching him in the act is the key.

Your cat may just need some grass to eat. Sometimes if their stomach is upset, they will eat paper.

cats will get into anything, so just move the roll where he can't reach it.
