My 6 year old female cat Angel has two small spongy type knots on each side of her stomach. I seen them tonight. I can't really get a good look at them cause she is kind of hateful and always has been when it comes to trying to hold her. I am going to call the vet in the morning but can't seem to find a lot of information on here about what they might be. She is spayed but she did have one litter of kittens when she was about a year old. She has a healthy appetite and is drinking water but she seems to have lost some weight but not a lot. Also, I hope the vet will work with me on the bill cause I am on medical leave from work at the present time but I already owe him from a cat I have there before. I was thinking it may be swollen lymph nodes. I had a cat who had these before on his stomach but hers on in a different spot. They are on each side of her and his was more in the middle. Thanks again.

your doing the right thing by having her checked by a vet. lumps or small balls can be anything from cysts to cancer I hope not, and i hope the vet can work somthing out for you as far as the bill is concern. good luck I shall say a prayer for you and your cat.

bundle her in a towel to look at her stomach. It will restrain her paws while you check.
