I set up a website trying to get some street cats rehomed. It has live streaming video of the cats eating at night. I was getting a lot of visits at the beginning, but hte visit numbers are going way down and its been almost 2 weeks and no one has expressed an interest in taking a cat. Should I be discouraged or will it work if I hang in there?
The address is http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
I'd appreciate your opinions.
Thanks

Please don't be discouraged the work you are doing is wonderful. I have my own brood of 9 of my own that were rescues off the streets or born to those that I rescued.

Someone recently intentionally poisoned one of my cats when he got out one night and he sadly did not make it despite all the vet tried to do for him.

My fiance and I were with him when he passed and miss him greatly. We have already taken in another little guy to keep him off the streets while the police try to get that horrible person off the streets where he can't hurt any more animals.

Please know that what you are doing is worthwhile and it is those like yourself that make the world a better place and that the kitties truly appreciate what you do for them.

Once I own instead of rent I will make sure that I have someplace large enough to accomodate all the kitties that need me. Try listing your site in web directories, join rescue webrings etc but whatever you do don't give up those babies depend on you. If you are in the ohio area when you come to the states I would love to have you over for dinner. It is the least one crazy cat lady can do for another.

No don't be discouraged. What your doing by trying to rehome these cats is very special and kind thing to do. You have to hang in there, perhaps try some new approach or new ways of getting the word out about your web site. There are thousands of cat related web sites many of them have message boards, why not post about your site on them. It up the good work, believe me I know how hard it can be.

Hang in there, contact your local shelter, see if they can take some cats, you could see if you could advertised on other website, see that generate more interest

Good Luck

I love the name of your website

Just hang in there. are you advertising this site around? you might want to ask in the internet catagory and they might be able to give you some tips to get your numbers up.

Good luck!
