I do brush and comb his fur, but he has gotten lazy about grooming himself and is getting snarls in his fur that have to be cut out with scissors. He is also getting dandruff. What can I do to help my Charlie cat?

I was hanging around at my back yard and I found 3 or 4 kittenns near the swimming pool wooden racks. Their mom wasn't there so I stole one of them. It's pretty cute and not furious. Can I make it a pet if I raise it at home? What are the ways? Or it will die?

When I clean my kittens litterbox he looks at me like I'm completely insane and jumps in and seems like he's trying to stop me. He'll try to knock the mess off of the scooper or get in and start using the box. What's his deal??

Hello everyone and thank you for all of your responses in advance,
I have 5 week old kittens. Lately I've been going into basement (there room) and I've been finding the cat's are having accidents. I've filled a shoe box lid with liter and put it in the spot where the first accident was but they are still having occasional accidents. What can I do to help?

My cat Bello does not meow much at all. Every now and again I might hear a little sound come from him but that's it. Is this normal?

He is male, 3 years old and neutered. If it will create problems, I'll just have to get a new cat.

We're watching my in-laws cat while they get their house fumigated. He's about 13 and calm. I have a female that's a year old and belongs in a padded room. Any advice on how to help them get along?

We took one tiny tiny kitten in and it has been showing positive results I am assuming from the food and higher temps in the house as it is getting ver chilly at night here in CT. However she still has puss on eyes and they other kittens outside I checked on today are getting worse. Two of the kittens were fine than all of a sudden they are getting these puss closed eyes. We would like to do something until we can get a vet to address this problem. Yesterday someone said go have them put down which I am against. As a person I would rather be sick living than sick dead so any suggestions? Also if they use an antibiotic can you tell me which ones and mg per lb?

I do have some around the house which I used before but have lost the sheet of lb/mg ratio.

Cheers

There was a stray cat that was outside who had a batch of four kittens. We have taken the one that was smallest in trying to get her fixed up. We seemed to remove all the fleas and larvi via bath but on her face what I am guessing is flea larvi. It looks like little white specs which seem to be moving if you look very close. My posts from yesterday seem to point to flea larvi. I am just concerned what I can put on her head to get rid of them.

We are unable to bring the kitten/s to a vet as of yet. So over the counter is only methd possible as of this week. Anythinng that is better than nothing.

If a male kitten comes up with medical problems that leave neutering a life threatening event, how can spraying and other Tom problems be prevented/eliminated? My male kitten's pre-surgery tests show that he has serious heart problems.Although we have his neuter scheduled, with many precautions in place for the surgery thru his Vet, I am wondering if anyone out there has had success in keeping an indoor Tom without the usual problems. I have many other pets, including one other female spayed cat, so I think I am in for a lot of territorial spraying if he is not neutered.

Okay here is the deal the cat pees where he wants and poops where he wants! We give him lots of attention! we clean the litter out everyday!
we just got back from vacation so the cat used our bed as his box! well we marked it off as him missing us!
well everyday we have been back he has done the same thing poops on our bed!
well yesterday he did it twice when we got home from work he had a nice gift for us well we rubbed his nose in it and took control... i know this is good for dogs but does it work on cats? anyway while we were home he goes and uses the bed again!
it was a nice suprise before bed time!
I'm sick of changing the sheets! and just sick of the cat... we both love the cat but this is getting to be such a problem... i would love any advice!
we are in the current prossess of speaking to his rightful owner...
Male cat yes he has been snipped!
he doesn't spray just poops and pees!
he did pee infront of my partner while he was doing his act!
Thanks

My baby likes straws, which I know is pretty common. My adult cat got the screw off the bottom of the toilet.. you know the white cap piece.. and I kept finding it everywhere in the house.. I was grossed out.

What are some funny things your cat plays with? Also, does your cat like to hide its toys under your couch, bed, entertainment center, etc? I found about 4 mice, 3 straws and 2 balls under my entertainment center.

Once before my cat made a really horrible sound, and went to stand up and started walking really funny. That was a few months ago. And this morning, he did the exact same thing except he also pee'd everywhere. I am not sure if I should wait to see if it happens again, or go visit the vet.
