Oh dear! It sounds as if your cat is having seizures. My cat did the same thing. I didn't understand it. They thought she had a kidney stone or crystals that were making it painful for her to pee, but it turned out that she was having a mild seizure (also know as a petit mal seizure). It wasn't until she had a grand mal seizure (a seizure accompanied by violent convulsions, eliminating and drooling) that they realized she had epilepsy. I would definitely take your cat to your vet as soon as possible. Seizures can be very dangerous...especially if he goes outdoors. He could fall, choke or get hit by a car. Your vet needs to rule out the cause. Please don't delay. Feline epilepsy is not a death sentence, it can be managed. My kitty is doing great with medication. Good luck!

It sounds like there may have been some sort of seizure or stroke and I would certainly take the cat to a vet to see what might be wrong.
If your cat is already a "client" of a vet clinic I would certainly make a call to see if his "doctor" feels it would be helpful to bring the cat in.

Yes see a vet, male cats can have a serious problem with the urinary tract. It could be that, since he never did it before the last time then it isn't a normal thing. Wouldn't you see a doctor if you did that??

My cat did the same thing - made a terrible sound of agony. He was having heart attacks and finally had the one that killed him. I thought he was messing with me for attention but I wish I had gotten him to the vet before the big one.

Is your cat fixed?? Cuz they do that sometimes when they are not! Or it could be a infection and it hurts for it to pee, so they just go when they need to. Take it to the vet and have them check it out, if you dont have much money take it to the humane society they charge real cheap for fixes, shots, and other medical! Hope it feels better!

Check the pee...if it looks orange or pink, then your cat has a bladder infection and needs vet attention Right Away!
If it was my cat, I would take it to the vet to make sure he didn't eat string, have something stuck in a paw, have crystals in his bladder, the list could go on and on.

take the cat to a vet and see if ther are any health problems that might be causing these problems. IF they dont find anything then try changing the food you are feeding it and see if that works.

I'm not sure but it could be that the cat wants to mate if it wants to pee everywhere. Is it locked up or does it stay with you? They tend to do that out of depression as well to attract your attention.

Oh poor kitty. He sounds like he may have a broken bone.. Try to touch and see if u can touch his front and back paws but if u cant it may be that. That is why he didn't make it to his litter box.
