I have heard that bells are harmful for cats, they disorient them and even can turn them deaf, besides such a permanent close noise being really annoying for an animal whose ears are much more sensitive than ours. Is this true?

After 10 years, my Maine Coon has finally gotten a few armpit knots going on and he's too old and cranky to let me take the time to get them out, so off to Dr. Bill we go today.

Sad to see our pets age, you know, he'll get me though for this...

From the minute the sun rises my cat cries for her breakfast, she'll come up on the bed and start licking my face, will yowl at the foot of the bed, if I give her a row she'll run off downstairs and cry loudly at the bottom! When we finally do feed her (same time every morning) she'll firstly swipe for the bowl when I lift it, cry and dance about until it's put down to her, wolf it down then run away and bring it back up again! I think it's because she works herself up so much it's too much for her. I start her off with only half a pouch but it still happens. Any suggestions as to how I can remedy this? (I do not want to got up and start feeding her first thing in the morning because it just means she gets hungry through the day and the same thing happens at dinner, I work all day so feeding more than twice is out also) The constant crying is bad enough but the sick is not something I enjoy clearing either! help!

why are some people on here so obsessed that cats should be kept indoors? they are natural hunters and explorers and free spirits and i chose where i lived especially so my cats could have a garden and a quiet residential road with few cars. they are both spayed, both micro chipped and both up to date with all possible vaccinations and i love them more than anything. when i do keep them in, say on bonfire night, they howl and paw at the back door to get out because its natural for cats to be outside. i wouldnt deny them their natural instinct to hunt and lie in the sunshine, does this make me a bad pet owner?? don't get me wrong - i'm not saying people who keep their cats indoors are wrong, it is undeniably safer for them. but why do people have such a problem with the fact that i would rather let my own cats roam free, and protect them as much as i can while doing so?

I have tried exercise... i mean, the cat walks around the block with me twice everyday... i cut downhis food from 3 x 5.5oz. cans to 2 x 5.5 oz cans... and he still weighs the same. If I cut his food down to 1.5 cans... the cat will leave me!

We just adopted a kitten and arent sure whats ok for it to eat. Car food obviously. He eats it mixed with water still. Is tuna ok too? If so, how much? Mixed in with food? How about mixing the dry cat food with the tuna juice?

She keeps scratching, biting & licking, more than she did before the treatment. I'm pretty certain we have a major infestation problem here. But shouldn't the Frontline be helping her? What can I do to fix the problem? Also, she's very small & the Frontline dripped to the side of her shoulder blades. Will her licking it lead to ineffectiveness? Please help me.

I've recently set up a street cat rescue website with live streaming video of the kitties needing homes, but it's been sabotaged more than once, and I'm wondering if people can see the StreetCatCam right now cause the event log says no one is there. Its for a good cause, street cat rescue. Please let me know, the link to the streetcatcam is on the home page at http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
Thanks so much

Also, what kind of Meow Mix should I feed her if I want her to to sign arias? Or perhaps the score from Amadeus?

If not, I'm returning this bag right away. I might even sue them for false advertising.

My cat was treated a month ago and her symptoms have improved but not very quickly. She has only gained half a pound and her coat isn't great. Should I be concerned or is this normal?
