I have tried exercise... i mean, the cat walks around the block with me twice everyday... i cut downhis food from 3 x 5.5oz. cans to 2 x 5.5 oz cans... and he still weighs the same. If I cut his food down to 1.5 cans... the cat will leave me!

Experiment a tad. Feed him a little less than what the can tells you to. And I also think it's a good idea to split it up. I have the same cat problem & I"m feeding him half of his food at 7.30am & the other half at 7.30pm. Just a tad bit less. Most foods should have a recomendation on the bag.

Read the feeding guidelines on the can.
Feed high quality premium food like Nutro Natural Science, or the vet might have some weight control food you can get.

Sounds like a serous problem. I'd ask my vet, but I'll bet he/she will tell you that your should be feeding sone dry food in there somewhere and only feel one can per day. It's great you can get a cat to walk around the block. Congratulations.

I would speak to the vet. They have specialist wet diet cat food. U shouldn't be feeding him more than 2 average sized bowls of WET food aday. Do not leave dried food out. I got my cat down from 7.5kg to 5.5 kg by doing this. He won't thank u for it, but u need to get tough!

This is some thing you should speak to your vet about. When we over feed our pets, we shorten their lives! Some times when a cat has been fixed, they get big!

talk to a vet they will be able to tell you more because we don't know your cats medical history, they will be able to tell you if your cat is healthy enough to loose weight and if there is a medical condition that is causing it also tell you how to go about it with out harming your cat. if a cat looses weight too quickly, it's liver gets messed up.
