I've got a boy cat and he is so dopey. Nearly all the girl cats I know are really snooty and hiss whenever you go near them, they never want to play and sit on their own all the time. My boy cat however is very easy to cuddle and has never ever hissed at me. Is it just me or are boy cats more friendly and playful?

I just read that a flicking tail means agitation. I don't believe that. Both my cats flick their tails when they are purring. I think cat tail signals are many and complex. Do you have any idea about your cats tail signals.

HELP! My 1 year old cat loves to chew on everything: paper, plastic, foam padding and even electrical cords that are plugged into the sockets! I dont want her to kill herself and end up like Granny's fried kitty in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! What can I do to make her stop this????

I was just curious how many cats people have in their houses. I have none, I find cats and dogs disgusting with their shedding and pooping. But that's only me, to each is own. But my mother in law has 12 cats in her house and she feeds all the strays so she has approx. (including the house cats) 15-20 cats hanging around her property at any given time. I was wondering if this was normal and if others share this obsession with cats and why? In my opinion all cats do is lay around, how can that be anything worth wanting in excess. (remember this is my opinion please leave it at that and don't get nasty with me because I don't share your views please, thank you)

I rescued a kitten who im guessing is approx 2-3 months old. One of my two cats had "adopted" her as her baby and the kitten lays with her and kneads her belly and nurses from her. I rescued the older cat also and she has never had kittens since she has lived with me but I believe she had some before. Is the adoptive kitty momma really producing milk? Can cats lactate like that without having been pregnant? The kitten also eats hard food and I don't have a problem with her nursing,in fact the two have bonded really well but Im just curious as to whether she is really producing milk or is the kitten just doing this out of habit?

She's one year old and i've noticed that she is a very poor eater. She is very skinny and her skin sags at the back by her legs. I gave her worm tablets months ago because that's what i thought it might be. She also seems to take ages to eat her food and she eats it very slowly even when she SHOULD be hungry. So what's going on?

I'm trying not to show support because I think that would make me look gay. Is it ok to say sorry? I liked Superjunk's cat, but he should be a bit more manly about the situation, I think.

My cat has a ton of energy. She is one year old. I have a hard time sleeping at night because she jumps on my head. How do I get her to settle down at night? I feel bad when I lock her in another room because she enjoys my company.

My friend has a 9 yr old himalyan cat and the vet cannot find out what is wrong with it-for a year now they have been treating it for allergies and doing bloodwork-it has lost alot of weight and has a red skin and spots where the fur is coming out-it itches all the time and has labored breathing-yet is very active-she doesn't know how to help it.
-I told her I would check to see if anyone knew of a sickness like this and knows of a cure or even what it is. Time is of the essence any help would be appreciated. Thanks
