One of my cats likes bleach too. Everytime I use it, he wants to roll around on that spot. Of course, I don't let him.

Anyway, I just looked it up on Google, and apparently bleach acts as an intoxicant for cats.

So, I guess our cats are trying to get high. Maybe we should give them more catnip.

My cat goes absolutely bananas when I use Clorox to clean. Today, when I cleaned the fridge, she was rolling around in front of my feet, licking my shoes, trying to lick the floor, etc. Interesting phenomenon. She has a very mild reaction to catnip, but loves her some bleach! Relax folks, I know it is poisonous and I don't let her drink it or lick the places it has been!

Like most toxic chemicals, it probably has a flavor the cat likes. Take care that the cat doesn't get into it and have a big drink. You will have to rush it to the vet for poison control.

They don't like the smell of bleach. If cats are licking your hand, that got bleach on it, then they are just trying to get rid of the smell of the bleach. If they are licking the bleach from a small spill or something like that then you need to get your cat to a vet ASAP. It could kill them.

Cats likes salt. Bleach has a lot of salt in it. My cat has never done that but she has never been around bleach. If she was she would lick it.
