many petting zoos color the fur or feathers of their animals at easter. Food coloring is safest and if you get the past kind, you can get very bright colors.

What ever you put on a cat, (Jello, food coloring, kool-aid,) will get in a cat. They clean themselves. I don't think it would be safe for you. I think if you tried this, you would be scratched silly. But your cat could be calmer and have more patience for stupid human tricks than mine.
I think the worst you would get is a tummy upset in the cat, less if you shampooed it out before cat licked it all out.

When all of the coloring of the "rich" people's dogs...unsweetened Koolade was used...you could probably us that....everyone is just jealous that your cat will the the prettiest Hot Pink cat on the block!

Look at all the people who color their hair...why not a cat...start a new trend!

i would think so. my cat eats jello and she hasn't died yet. Although i didn't know Jello died hair. If you wanted to, you could try kool-aid (mix wihtout the sugar) which is very efficient at dyeing almost anything.

WHY would you want to? ....is the question I ask in answer to YOUR question! Cats are beautiful, with such variety in colors and patterns! They're as individual as snowflakes, no two alike...and besides....if you could ASK your CAT this same question....don't you think he/she feels beautiful exactly the way they are? I'm sure they'd tell you NO!!!
