My 6 year old male cat was getting crystal blockages in his urethra. We put him on special food but it didn't work so we had the surgery done that snips off the narrow part of the urethra to stop the blockages. The vet reccommended that we keep him on the food but it is rather expensive. Will he continue to block up if we take him off or will the surgery alone do the trick?

My cat Gracie, female, 4 yrs or so and spayed, licks and nibbles her forepaws compulsively whenever anyone scratches or even pats her lower back, around her tail. We have her on flea control stuff; she also seems to roll around on the floor like a dog, belly up. What's going on with her? My parents seem to think she's going into heat but I've never seen this behavior in her until recently. Does anyone have any thoughts on what this could possibly be? Thank you.

I've had the cat for almost two years, and he has never been sick before. He is still eating, but throws up almost every day. His stool is very liquidy and yellow in color. He also doesn't seem to be cleaning himself as good as he did before. I have not changed to a new type of food or a new type of litter. I change the litter every day. I have another orange Tabby who seems fine, and I also have a dog that seems OK. I am trying to avoid a huge vet bill if at all possible, any ideas what the problem may be?

My kitten is vomiting white foam and has diarrihea. I think he may have drank milk that was left on the table. He also is breating kind of heavily. Will he be all right? Is there anything I can do to make him feel better faster?

I took my 3 year cat for her yearly check up and shots today and now she just lays on the floor and when we pet her she growls and hisses like it hurts. The vet just said to keep her in a dark guiet room and she will be better tomorrow. Anybody else have this happen?

I have 2 cats, one of which i've had for 2 years and used to live outdoors (she was a stray) but was fixed and dewormed shortly after I got her. I got another cat a year ago and he has never been outside a day in his life (I know this because the other cat is his mother and he's been with me since birth). But for some reason, he has worms! I plan to take him to the vet, but I don't understand how an indoor cat got worms? All he eats is cat food. He couldn't have caught it from his mother (who never even seemed to have worms ever); she was dewormed before he was born and has been an indoor cat for 2 years. So how is this even possible?!

I paid a pet deposit when we first moved into my old house - and my pet did some minor damage that cost less than the pet deposit was for.

Does my landlord have the legal right to make me pay additionally for the damage, even though he still has money leftover from my nonrefundable deposit?

She has tried cleaning the areas and moving the litter box. She has talked to the vet and they were no help. If anyone else has had this problem could you please give us some advice. Thanks!!!

Advantage for cats is cheaper from an online Australian store, even with higher shipping, but I don't know if it's legal to import this to the US for my use. The store suggests checking with authorities as the meds are in Australian packaging. Does anyone know which authority I would check with?

What happened?

I have a 2 month old kitten. I bought him a cat bed for him to sleep in. But he doesn't seem to sleep at all, and he only takes naps when I'm in sitting position so that he can curl up on my lap. and he follows me around all day, and I found it really difficult to push him out of the bathroom door when I'm about to take a shower. last time he somehow smuggled himself in to my school, curling up in my bag. I was lucky that the bell hadn't rang. I don't want to lock him up in his room, but I also don't want him to follow me.Is there a proper way?
