is this a good idea: i'll make her sleep on lots of nice pillows and blankets.(cashmere...maybe) until a week later when i get her all checked out y the vet. i think that will guarentee us both healthy lives. vote on it

Heck ya! Whats the fun of having a cat if you can't cuddle with her. Cats aren't really dirty animals. Only there cat boxes are if you don't clean them.

Make sure you take her to an independent vet before you let her sleep in your bed. Definitely make sure she has a clean bill of health before you let her stick her shelter-butt on your pillow! (Especially a good de-worming...)
If you're nervous about how she will react to sleeping in a bed, I would start out with her sleeping on the floor next to the bed, then the foot of the bed, then up in your pillows. My cat came from a shelter, and she always stuck to the foot of the bed. Now that she's been with me a year, she's more comfortable and sleeps up by my head.

I couldn't sleep unless I was covered with cats....I have 18 and most of the time there are at least 7 on the bed.
Enjoy.

There's nothing wrong with her sleeping with you. My cat does. Of course, she likes having her favorite blanket at the foot of the bed.

yes if dhe wants to most cats like to sleep in beds. but if you think otherwise maybe a cat bed or a box will be the ideal place

If you treasure them as a companion keep them in your bed, in your lap, with you everywhere possible. People are bacterial cesspools. We keep them in bed with us, don't we?
