Advantage for cats is cheaper from an online Australian store, even with higher shipping, but I don't know if it's legal to import this to the US for my use. The store suggests checking with authorities as the meds are in Australian packaging. Does anyone know which authority I would check with?

Check with your local Food and Drug administration.

Probably not.

Flea meds are insecticides and they're tightly regulated by the EPA. I doubt very much that a private individual can import them from anywhere.

Aside from that, NEVER buy Advantage or any of those products on line!!! The market has been flooded with dangerous counterfeits of Advantage, Revolution, Frontline and others. Many dogs and cats have died. Legitimate retailers have been fooled by these fakes. The only way to make sure you're getting the real thing is to buy from a vet practice that hets the stuff directly from a manufacturer's sales rep.

Well, maybe you could export the fleas too!
