Give your cat a bath with a flea shampoo...but seriously that won't get all of them off, and the fleas are probably in the grass, in the carpeting and just waiting to jump back on your cat. You should get her medication, at least for the summer months.

Cheap - pick 'em off with a tweezers, one by one, using a flea comb to get at them. Make sure every one is dead or it will be right back on the cat within minutes. Make sure you get every single one or your efforts won't do any good.
More expensive - Advantage, Revolution, Frontline.
How much is your time worth...???

If you are that cheap, get it a good home. Otherwise, try picking them off by hand. Your cat cannot do anything about fleas, and he needs YOU!

Tea tree oil works if you put about 4 small drops in the cats flea shampoo if you put to much in the shampoo i hope you like bald cats!!! Tea tree oil also works to avoid yourself from getting lice i know it sounds pretty nasty but use the same dosage as you would for your cat but put it in human shampoo!

Its not necessarily cheap but its the ONLY really effective way-- Advantage. Costs like $60 for a 6 month supply (apply once a month) and they are gone within a day.
