Its been over 2 months since my dad found Lucky, my cat, at a gas station. In other words he's a stray. He loved it when I used to carry him, now, he always struggles! He even bites me. I dunno what I'm doing wrong! I'm not being cruel to him in anyway I can think of.....

my cat is a year and a half and started spraying a few months ago. i'm not exactly sure when because i have been in and out of state. i just want to know if its too late to get him fixed and if not will he continue to spray after the fact?

I have tried to comb her out and tried the spray stuff and the natural stuff you put on the cats neck but she has an allergic reaction when I put it on her and I have been to the ER twice over getting bit by fleas!! HELP!!!!!!

I knew that would get your attention, I have a white cat & her hair is driving me crazy , it's always on my black clothes wich i wear all the time ( work cloths ) I am making the lint roller Comp. rich .
I should just invest in stock with them . Is anybody with me here ? I guess this realy isnt a question is it ?

I noticed a crusty, light yellow thing at the edge of his right ear. Sometimes he scratches it like crazy. I tried applying Hydrocortisone cream but it still persists. A few weeks ago, I noticed that the back of this ear was pinkish, and a little sore. Some hairs were also missing. Is it fungal? Or parasitic (mange)?

My tiny kitten went into labour last night, when we found her she had already had two kittens, one was dead, & the other was alive but passed on this afternoon, her labour has stopped, BUT she definitely has two or three more in there, & they are not moving around, when i talked to the vet today he said it is going to cost me $ 165 to have her looked at, then its going to cost me around $ 1000 to have her operated on. As a mother of 2 i do not have this kind of cash, but she is family and i cannot just let her go,IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW AND IF I CAN INDUCE LABOUR please let me know ASAP so i can save our kitty ! the vet said theres no hope for the kittens if theres no movement, but if i can induce somehow at least theres a chance to save her from infection. I am BEYOND devastated about her kittens but cannot bear to stand the thought of voluntarily putting her down due to money shortage ! She is just over a year ! Please help my cat stay a part of our family !

My cat Mia, who was 5, was euthanized on May 6. She became very sick very suddenly. Vet suspected it was a uterine infection since she wasn't spayed, but we never got a definitive diagnosis because we opted not to do the exploratory surgery. Two weeks after, my husband brings home a kitten he got from his sister. I told him beforehand I probably would never want one again. But Rambo's here now. I don't really feel connected to him. I miss Mia terribly and I want her back. Rambo was neutered today, and I feel very bad I didn't spay Mia. I feel like I should have treated her as well because I surely loved her more. I feel bad for Rambo. I want to hold him but I can't stop thinking of Mia today.

Ok, this is going to sound weird, but it's true. My cat is about a year old now, and for the past 5-6 months whenever I start to pet her, she starts purring, and then - no joke- starts to suck on her own nipple.. she only does it when I pet her and make her purr. Doe anybody else's cat do this? Can anyone explain this?

Dogs can (and have) been bred over the years to be very small and "puppylike". If the same could be done with cats, would you want one?

I know cats are suppose to be clean animals, but any animal that walks in a litter box and then gets on a counter or table....yuk....it creeps me out!

I talk to my son (my cat, Pluto) as if he's a baby. Sometimes I feel like he's asking me for something, by when he meows, but half the time I don't know what he wants.

*I noticed worms in his stool. I immediately called a new vet, made an appointment for 9:30 tomorrow morning (because the old vet said it wasnt necessary to de-worm and now that he has worms, Ive decided screw old vet guy.)

Now, 10 minutes ago, my kitten threw up. Hes still super active and affectionate. Should I wait until 9:30 tomorrow morning or call an emergency vet?

I have a hunch a cat would attack and eat a small snake. Reason: my cat likes to play with snake-like toys, and I also saw (on TV) an African wild cat kill and eat a snake. I'd like to know if my hunch is rignt.

Some one suggested that cats instinctively know which snakes are venenous. I wonder if that is true...
