Take her to the vet to have her anal glands expressed as it sounds like they are not being expressed on their own when she deficates. This can be a reoccurring problem with many cats & dogs and can result in an anal gland rupturing if not taken care of on a regular basis (when you think of an anal gland rupturing, think of a golf ball sized bloody, stinky, painful zit being popped near your kitty's rectum. If that's not enough to get you into the vet before it happens, I don't know what is!) :)
If you decide to take her to the vet tonight (probably an emergency clinic, depending on what time it is where you are), call the vet's office first instead of just going over there. Describe the exact symptoms of what is going on and they can help you decide whether you need to go in tonight or if it can wait until a regular appointment time tomorrow.
I hope this helps! Good Luck!

If you are in an area that has a 24 hour vet emergency clinic take her there ASAP!!
if unable take her to the vet first thing in the morning!!
It is an infection!! The foul smell and yellow liquid is a sign of infection..
don't squeeze it any more or put any medication on it.. if you squeeze it the infection could spread and putting medication on it right now may not be the best thing to do until you take the cat to the vet..
Good Luck!!!

Maybe cats have anal sacs like dogs do - but I am not sure. My son worked at a vet and he told me he had to hold a dog while the vet drained the anal sacs and it was the foulest smelling thing. I have never taken my dog to have her anal sacs drained but I think people do. You should bring her to the vet.

Get her to the vet immediately. It could be a bite from another animal that has gotten infected. Infection will often give off a horrible smell. it could also be cancer. Don't take any chances, get her to the vet.

It sounds like her anal glands are infected. Get her to your vet ASAP. They will do a minor surgery to correct the problem and get her on antibiotics. DO NOT wait any longer than tomorrow.
Good Luck

Those are scent glands. Realated to a skunks, very musky nasty smell. They can get clogged too and must be squeezed by a vet. Butts are gross, huh?
