I'm just adding another "NO" to those you've already gotten. It is not possible for two separate species to interbreed. Horses and donkeys can produce offspring because they are both members of the equine species but, even so, their offspring are sterile.
This is an "Old Wife's Tale" that has been around for a long time and it's caused much havoc among cat and dog owners. Don't believe it.
I do recommend that you get your cat spayed. If you don't she'll just produce endless litters of kittens that will wind up homeless or in the pound. Plus they will be a constant annoyance to you. Do yourself and her a favor and take her to someone who will spare her future kittens an uncertain life.

no, but i saw a story on the news yrs ago (and this is true) about a mommy and daddy cat who had a litter of kittens that died...and the daddy cat went out into the woods and brought back a litter of baby bunnies to the mommy cat which she nursed and cared for like they were her own

My male cat humps my female cat and they are both fixed. It's just an instinct. Different species cannot produce offspring. God didn't make it that way, or else there'd be all sortsa freaks of nature out there (catdogs and birdturtles and all).

no. the cat and the rabbit cannot interbreed. they aren't even close to the same family. so...genetically speaking, no. rabbits and cats cannot mate. get your bunny neutered. and your cat spayed and it will keep that to a minimum. female cats will ask...or should i say beg ANYTHING to take care of her problem. lol.

i'm still laughing, cause when i had a male pet rabbit, named thumper, he would jump anything he got near.........of course animals like that can try anything but its highly doubtful the cat will have bunkittens..........the cat just enjoyed the attention, no big deal........probably not a bad idea to keep one of them in a cage when this happens again........its not polite!!! lol.
good luck............sharon t. from cedar point ohio

No, but it would still be a REALLY GOOD idea to get your cat spayed. You can also get the rabbit neutered.

No, that isn't possible, but hypothetically if it were, what would you call the new species, a cabbit...lol.
