My cat, who is 15 or 16 years old, started vomiting blood today (she was fine yesterday). The vomiting seems to have stopped or slowed, but she is looking very bad and isn't eating or even moving.

She also seems to be seeking a place where she can be alone.

I have no money to take her to the vet for extended tests and treatments. Should I consider putting her down so that she won't be suffering anymore? What are some causes of the symptoms I mentioned above?

My cat, Smokey, died on Dec. 30, 2005 and I still cry over him when I see pictures of him. I just need to know what I can do to stop hurting myself. I mean I love him dearly and oh! Just talking about him makes me wanna cry!

I have a floor fan blowing in cold air from outside (poor man's air conditioner). He's sitting behind the fan and doing his best tom cat meow into the fan. He's neutered... but could he be singing for the girl cats in the neighborhood.

and I moved recently into another house with a roomie that has a dog. He is spraying everywhere. I have an appointment to get him fixed, but am concerned the spraying will continue. He is 18 months old. Any thoughts on how to 1) get him to stop spraying and 2) get along with the dog in the house?

I bought my persian kitten from someone that had to move soon to a place where pets weren't alowwed and tried to sell their litter quick as possible so i got him for a very good price. the thing is, they told me he was pure persian. sometimes im still in doubt. how do i know if he is pure persian? his nose is kind of like a persian. and he said as he gets older, his face will get flatter. any idea how i could find out?

heres a pic of him, he is 10 wks old.

I recently moved into a 2nd story apartment and my downstair's neighbor's cat seems to have pre-claimed my porch, door and window. The cat itself isn't annoying as much as the spraying it leaves behind.
I have tried the white vingar thing and that only worked for a little bit. The real kicker is that the cat gets on my porch, onto my railing and then jumps across to a second story window -- only to spray it!!
I haven't been able to "catch" the cat doing it but prior to the first spraying, I did see the cat at the window.
I am limited since this is an apartment (no hose to shoot at the cat and I don't want to cause waves with my neighbor)
Help!!!!!!

about once or twice a month...my cat just lies down in a comfortable position and has these "trembles". its like a body shiver for 2 secs and then stops...and starts again...he does this for like 5 mins...it doesnt seem to bother him at all though...like if he gets distracted by something hell just get up and leave...what do you think it is?

My one year old female cat is going to the vet's tomorrow to be fixed. Does any one know if I will see any behavior changes? Calm down, get lazy, want more or less attention?

I was waiting for my dog at the vet when I saw a kitten playing with a ball. He was sooooo cute and small. My Grandma was a cat/kitten breeder so i know how to handle cats and care for them. a while ago my cats got sent to my grandma. Now I have my dog. I love cats and so does my mom but she said that we couldn't take the kitten home. My dog has to go back to the vets in 10 and she said if the kitten was still there, we would talk abou taking it home. This for my mom usully means no. I even told her that I would take total care over it!! I'm older than I was when I had the cats, so I'm more mature. I want to take the kitten home with me!! How do i get my mom to say 'yes'?? The hospital needs a good home for the kitten to stay in and my mom and I LOVE cats. I even said i'd pay for EVERYTHING with my $200 I got for my b-day! she said that we might be able to take it in while they look for a home! How do i get her to say yes if we do bring her home or even if we dont?? I love that kitten

I have horrible neighbors (3rd floor apartment) who insist their four cats live outdoors. My problem is that their cats have found a nice seat in my flower box! I don't want to hurt the kitties (it's not their fault), but want to keep them out of my flowers. Any other ideas would be wonderful! Neither the ASPCA nor the management company so far have done anything as we have complained. Thanks!
