Bitter apple? You can get this at pet stores and at a vet. It's probably just a comfort thing. Many cats suck on various things the same way they did as kittens. Some even suck on themselves. I had one that would suck on his belly when he was happy, and another that would suck on the end of his tail!

There;s absolutely nothing wrong with this. It may make the cats feel safe and secure. I know a cat that likes to suck on her owners shirt because it makes her feel secure. A cat shouldn't be punished for trying to feel secure.

lol lol lol my goodness me!!! this is the 1st time in my life heard such news. well i have a lots of cat in my home but so far none of them suck their own nipple, why dun u spend more time with ur cat and play with it. maybe he/her bored and lonely

was she taken from her mother too soon? they tend to do that if they were taken from their momma too soon. we had a siamese cat that sucked ear lobes. and a kitten now that sucks her toes and her sisters fur or your clothes. we got her when she was 5 weeks old. a little too early.
