My absolute favorite cat of all time, and God do I wish I had another one, was a half-breed named Sydney, who was half silver tabby, half bobcat.

Gorgeous cat. About the size of a bobcat with a body that was a bit thinner. Silver tabby markings, except he had the tufts on the ends of his ears and the brown bobcat underbelly... and he was the most loving cat I've ever owned.

Shelter kitties are the only kind I'll adopt- there's so much demand for purebred cats, so there's very little chance they'll end up without a home, but those poor little babies in the cages with four other cats are just going to be put down if I don't help them.

I've got four shelter cats, and I'm currently pulling for a fifth. :)

I like a cat that talks, so any breed with part Siamese is good. I have a tabby Himalayan and she is the best.

In my experience, the rescued cats are the friendliest. I like a friendly -but not needy- cat. I am also partial to longhaired breeds with a tuxedo colored coat. Especially if it has a white "bowtie" pattern on the mouth.

Scottish Folds are friggin adorable. But my favorite definitely has to be either the Rag Doll or the Choo Choo Bear.

My kitten's a former stray I got from the humane society, so she's pretty much a mutt. Or rather, domestic shorthair. I not picky with breeds, a regular domestic shorthair is fine with me! :)

i really dont have a favorite breed cause i am a major cat lover so all cats are my favorite even the (hairless) Mr. Bigglesworth......lol
