I need to ask a few questions.

1. How old is when a cockatiel is fully grown

2. My cockatiel lost 3 feathers and none were bleeding, is this molting?

3.When will you be able to tell when all of the changes in your cockatiel (Cheeks getting more red, head more yellow, or if it stays the same). When will its cheeks turn red and head turn yellow if its a boy? (Age ex. 6 months, 7 months, 1 year)

I am travelling every 3 months from Indonesia where I live presently to South Africa, I stay for 2 to 3 months away and can that be the cause of my cockatoo pulling her feathers out? my husband work during the day and can only give her attention during evenings.

I was walking the other day and heard a bird singing just like the sound of a big metal spring being 'twanged'. Sort of Twawawawawwawaaaaaaaang. Of course it could've been a bloke with a spring going 'twawawawaaaaaang' just to fool me because he knew I was an ignorant Brit, new to Ontario! Can anybody help? I didn't see the bird so have no idea what it looked like,
