There are various names given to a group of RAVENS, depending on what they are doing at the time you see them.

If they are standing guard over something or appear to be, then they are called a CONSTABLE. If they are lurking in the shadows, apparently up to no good or looking generally spooky they are called a CONSPIRACY. If they are dive-bombing the neighbourhood cat or harassing their predator the owl, they are called a terror or UNKINDNESS.

Here are the more common names given to RAVENS:

Congress
Conspiracy
Constable
Parliament
Unkindness (the most common name given)

Murder, horde or congress are the names TYPICALLY given to a group of CROWS.

By the way, ravens and crows are in the same bird family. Ravens are bigger than crows and are often mistaken for the other.
