I wouldn't take the chance: PLEASE take her to a vet immediately! (I wish you and her the best of luck)

No avian vet within miles, my tiel hurt his leg in the shutters on my window. Everything looked fine except I could tell she was favoring it. The description you gave was exact to mine, but when he was on my finger the one leg was really warm. It was about 2 days and he was fine. I left him to walk only on soft surfaces, plus he has a kitty bed that he loves, and I believe he stayed in there a lot to recuperate. I did not put him in his cage for a couple of days, but secured the kitty bed, He is back to normal, well as normal as a cockatiel can be!. Don't panic and she will be fine.

Yes a good chance especially if an adult bird. The vet can splint the birds leg to make sure it heals completly but you do really need a vet.

Take her to the vet immediately. There's a chance the leg could still be rehabilitated. If you don't there's a chance that it could get infected, and or reduced blood flow that could cause reason for amputation at later date.

One leg is better than none. As for the blood, you can't let that build up. I got to be blunt; that leg has to go bye bye. I don't see any problem with a litocain injection, prior to amputating the leg with a steak knife. Got a blowtorch? OK then, suturing the remaining portion of the leg is just a matter of aiming. It'll be a learning experience.

I think you're silly. If you care that much about the bird, then take it to an avian vet.

The only fair thing to do is this:
go find the largest 18 wheeled semi-truck in your neighborhood, and have it "accidentally roll over" your legs for 3 seconds.
Then you have paid your dues.
