I would like to get a pet duck. But I don't know what breed to get or how to properly take care of it or where to get it. I also don't know how many. Please help.

And I need good sources too.

I have been trying to teach my male budgie, Skye to talk. Skye is quite old. I have gotten him for almost 2 years now. But 2 days ago i have been repeating over and over again his name, as well as Pretty Bird.

Its kind of weird, but sometimes i have a feeling that he is trying to talk and immitate me. He makes this soft noise which would sound like a pur from a cat. I have read that if a budgie is old, it may be difficult to teach them how to talk. So i was wondering what kind of noise it would be for a budgie trying to talk?

thankx...

i have had him since he was 6 weeks old. he never did this before, he was always loving and fun to play with. he will take food from your hand, but if you go to pick him up or touch him, he will bite. i have tried everything, squirting water on him (he likes water) telling him no, covering him up after he does this.they say, not to flip the beak. i dont know what else to do??

I have seen various types of parrot here, which are not tethered, and also appear to not have a wing clipped. I live on the top/13th. floor of a condo block. Any suggestions on type / breed please.

I recieved an email saying that for a bald eagle to live up to 70 years old it must fly to a high mountain and try to poke its own beak agains at wall for it to fall off and a new one to come out , then with the new beak they take out their own nails is this true?

I have a white silkie rooster that bred with a black bantam. There are three babies. One has one of those almond shaped combs. Another chick has like an afro, while the other one just has a regular head. I checked one of the chicks, and he had 4 toes and one little short stubby toe. Are these silkies? Or are they bantams? Or is it possible to have a mix? Best answerer gets 10 pts!

One of them is new. How long till they get along? One is male, one female. Large cage, plenty of food and water, lots of cool toys, and they each have their own space. Yet, they are really quarrelsome (acquired one of them yesterday).
