I have a cockatiel and i'm wondering if seeds are better for her, or the Exact food pellets that are formulated for cockatiels. If I give her seeds she only eats her favorite kinds, not everything available with the mix i give her. (she eats the millet only mostly..)

My cockatiel is occasionally aggressive, what can I do to show him that is a bad behavior?

I have tried laddering, yelling, blowing in his face, "time outs", and many more.. but nothing seems to work

He is a flightless bird, and if the problem is territorial behavior, then his territory is the entire house and where am i suppose to live?
He is normally a very sweet, loving boy (in fact his is cuddling with me right now); but occasionally he has tempertantrums! His bites range from beak bumps to breaking the skin (depends on his mood)

She seems fine, happy and eats a very healthy diet. Is this something to be concerned about medically?

I found a sick baby pigeon a week ago, and I started taking care of him. Now he's grown a lot but he's not fully ready to go outside and fly away. But whn I do let him go, I just want to know if it was a female or male. How do I tell them apart?

My room mate and I just got finches. I have never had birds before and heard they were the best starter birds and they have a really nice song. The problem is we got grit littler for them and they throw it all over the floor (there cage is abiout three feet off the ground). They also kinda smell, this is after like two days. Is this normal? Should I just buy new straw litter instead and buy an air freshener. My room mates throwing a fit about me not loving them.

I have a 6 year old cockatiel, who likes to gently bite. its more of a beak bumb/fake bite. In any case I see it as an aggressive act that i would like to curb.
I have tried everything I can think of: words, laddering, ignoring, "time outs", etc.
When I scratch his head, he will "bite" then he begs for his head scratched again; this has been going on ever since he was a baby. In the last few years he has been "biting" more often.

BTW, he is a flightless bird (I know the first answer will be "clip his wings")

Most of the time when I watch it, it is plucking its feathers out. Also it has some patches where he is missing feathers. Is this normal and healthy? If not what is its problem and is it severe?
