Oi..there are so many people here that should not be allowed to answer bird questions because they have NO idea what they are talking about.
Girl birds are NOT more aggressive...sex in relations to speech IS relevant in some bird species..such as cockatiels.
Female tiels don't have the ability to speak like the males do. I've heard people saying that they have females that talk..but upon examination of the tiel by someone more knowledgeable about them, most were found out to be male. It may be possible for a female to talk..but I've never seen it. But never say never I say :P

Yes they can talk!!! What a dumb question!! All they need is some time spent with them and words repeated over and over to them. Words with a lot of vowels are learned easiest. And if you want while you are gone, you could leave a tape recording on so she could get some added time. But keep the same one in otherwise she might no learn anything.

Some cockatiels talk and some don't. Placing their cage in front of a TV helps or music is good. They start to mumble at first and then they gradually though time. They take very well to female voices too

Female cockatiels do not have the ability to talk. Males are born with the "voice box" that allows them to be able to speak words, whereas the females are not born with this "voice box".
Keep in mind too, that not all males talk. It all depends on the bird.
Females do, however, have the ability to whistle, and some are very good at it. I have a female that whistles as good as the males.

Yes, girl birds can talk. The females of most bird species are not as friendly, nor do they talk as much as the males of the species.

Yes, it doesn't have anyrthing to do with their gender. Maybe you did not train the female bird as well as the male bird. In fact, female birds learn faster than the male birds.
