our cabinets are attached to the ground/wall, and it got in through a hole..

actually, it's not stuck..we just don't know where it is behind the cabinets and can't get it to come out

You'll probably have to tear the cabinets out.
You're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. If you save the bird, you have to fix everything. If you don't save the bird, you'll have to tear everything out anyway after it starts to smell.

Aww. I would try to lure it out with food placed near the hole. It doesn't sound like there's a way to catch it, and if you tried it would probably panic and get more stuck. Other than ripping your cabinets right out, I don't know what else to suggest.

Well, try taking some liquid soap and putting it on the bird's sides and lback and gently pull him or her out. If not call some body from a wild life center to help.

i don't know about you but i am a real animal lover so what i would do is feed it everyday for a week or so or until it knows you have food and then some how get it to trust you,you know . then call it and let it come through the whole and let it go free.

You should lure it out with bird seeds it is probaly scared so leave some bird seeds and leave it alone
