are budgies good pets? i jus want sum answers. dont b one of those idiots who think theyre funny by giving sum unrelated or cruel answer.

They are wonderful pets if you like birds. I had one that lived for 13 yrs.
They are not that messy--one of things that allows them to live a long life is to allow them to fly.
I set mine up in our bedroom and each morning I opened his cage door and left it. He would fly when chose to.
He sang and sang--a happy bird indeed.
Provide toys and spend time with him when they are young and they will come to you and interact with you.
I love birds.

I think they are really good pets. You can train them to talk too! As long as you handle them often, most are very friendly. Don't put a mirror in the cage though. They will like the mirror better than you!
I have had them since I was a kid. You can grow very attached to your bird! You have to keep their cage clean. (Corn cob bedding is real good to put down on the bottom of the cage) You also have to give them vitamin supplements and such. When you go to the pet store there are books that will tell you just about everything you need to know about them.
If you like to burn scented candles DO NOT GET A BUDGIE unless you are willing to give the candles up. The candles will give your little friend a bad respiratory infection! Even if you do it in another room, it will still happen!

They can be good pets. But really messy. But then most birds are. It really depends on the amount of time you want to spend on caring for them. I have a parrot. He is really cool, but also messy. I just got a rug 6' X 6' and put his cage on that. It really helped with the mess. I think you could do the same with the budgies. But also keep in mind you need to keep there cage clean and that can be work. I wish I had better advise. Good Luck.

Yes, they are good pets. They are easy to are for, do not require much space, and can become quite tame and well trained with enough patience (they do require more training than parrots).

Sure they're good pets... They are hearty and they are active; easy to train and pretty to look at. Breeding them is fun, too, if you feel like trying it.

well it depends on what you're looking for in a pet. They're pretty good pets though if you like birds, I like cockatiels better though.

i think they are they can get messy,and throw seeds on the floor. and they can get noisy as well,so i used to cover my bird up at night.
