We have 8 Great Dane puppies. They are almost 7 weeks old. The runt is a female and when she is around my kids she will growl at them. I'm not talking about playing. They will go to pet her and she growls viciously. We don't yell or hit her. My kids are older and I always watch them around the dogs. I have never seen a puppy behave this way.

I've been looking online at Newfoundland puppies (I'm interested in getting one but not in the immediate future) and was wondering if it's possible to breed them with dry mouth (no drooling). A couple breeders I've looked at advertise them but I'm wondering if it's just a scam to get extra money for the puppies.

A pet forum without all the BS found here.

I know its not entirely possible, but at least something would be done about it.

Repeat offenders would be completely banned, and before you could answer question you'd have to take a test about the animal in question.

Yay or Nay, what do you think?

So I found a 4 week old kitten over the weekend. I just found out today she has fleas but I cant give her anything for it until she is 8 weeks. They just said to bath her in pert plus. I have 3 other grown cats and a dog. They have been mostly seperated from her. From the vets advice I am going to be starting them on frontline next week. I jsut want to know what I am in for with the flea thing. Do you think they got all over the whole house in this amount of time? Also will the pert plus really work for getting rid of the ones the kitten has? How will I know if they are in the carpets and all over the house? Thanks

I have a green-spotted puffer, and he has a 10 gallon tank - I've been putting in about 3/4 cup of salt solution, after looking everywhere on the internet for the right amount that should be put in. Does anybody know some sort of "recipe" for how much of the salt needs to go in the water?

everyone says there is no such thing as a lion-lop! Well i'm here to post that that is not true! My friend ones a bunch and on google images if you type in Lion-Lop rabbits almost all those rabbit pictures will be Lion-Lops.
Just to say lion-lops are a cross breed between the Lionhead and the Lop rabbit. You see they come out with loped ears and a lionheads mane. So I hope there is no more nonsence of the whole "there is no such thing as a Lion-Lop" commotion anymore
Thank you!

I came home from school today to see that my female mollie, that I thought was pregnant, dead. I thought I fixed the problem a few weeks ago when i saw my other female mollie dead, she had really bad ripped tail. I thought it was my betta, so i separated it. But today when i came home i saw my other mollie up against the filter, skinny, pale, and being sucked on by my other fish, im not sure what kidn it is, but it usually sucks on the side of the tank, and its fins were a little torn but not really that bad. I saw my male mollie that I have been trying to breed them with hiding in a cave which i have never seen him do. My tank consist of 1 male mollie, 1 dwarf Gourami, 2 white cloud minnows, 1 sucker fish thing..lol, and 3 fish i dont no what they are my mom gave em to me but they arer liek speacxcialy breeded fish and are small and really bright colors. What do oyu think happened?!

I have a dog that I rescued from a lady who was about to take him to the pound. I thought he was golden retriever/yellow lab mix. According to my vet, the dog is a pure breed golden retriever. Is there a way to obtain proof that my dog is a pure breed? I do not know who the lady was that I got him from (I actually met her in passing at the grocery store and stopped to pet her puppy when she said he was on his way to the pound since the person she was meeting did not show up to take him!), so I have no way of contacting her. He is now 14 months old. If it is possible to get him registered, I would love to do so...he's a beautiful, smart dog and my daughter would like to show him.

My sister's labrador retriever likes to lift his paw, which is rather cute, but does he get pleasure doing it? I can understand why dogs enjoy being scratched but I dont get the paw thing.

They seem like a pretty good mix, poodles don't shed and Golden Retreivers make great dogs, right?
Just wandering if anyone knows anything about them deeper than that, like do they make pretty good dogs?

Ok, I "adopted" a stray cat from my apt. complex and all she seems to do is pee on my bed. How do I make her pee in the litter box? She is over 9 months old and I've tried showing her what to do and even made a litter box just for her. She will poop in the litter box, but will not pee in it. I really need help.

OK, this is sick. So my neighbors found a wild rabbit that had been hit by a car and its two back legs were broken. The rest of it looked fine; it wasn't bleeding or anything. I thought they should throw it in a bag and hook it up to the exhaust so it could at least get put down sort of humanely, but they insisted that burying it would be the best way. How long before it dies? It's not just going to starve in there painfully, is it?

It seems incredibly stupid to me to bury any still fully conscious creature alive.
