nicely, if she won the blind eye throughout her existence probably from yet another fish, you're able to have often good fry. She is fairly undesirable so which you have some deformed and/or ineffective fry, yet for the main area they must be good. on the different hand, if she substitute into born with the blind eye, she will produce an extremely low high quality batch of fry. Mutants produce mutants. there'll be a number of ineffective and deformed babies in the batch if that's the case, and whether there are wholesome ones in the batch, they are going to be sterile (that's a benefit, you do not % a bad tank gene pool) or they are going to produce undesirable fry. nonetheless it style of feels ill, if there are undesirable fry, launch them to be eaten or discover the thank you to euthanize them. good success.

That is a really good observation (i have no idea!!!), you should probably follow through with your idea.
I would get another breeding net and separate the full eyed ones from the normal eyed ones. That way you can watch their development and determine the "meaning" of their different eyes.
Is it possible that it is just a gene variation from the parents and has nothing to do with their sex? You may begin to notice different patterns happening with the two groups.

Good luck, I would love to hear the results.

I've noticed that in a few fish fry. Like with my corydoras catfish fry, a few have dark eyes a few have light. A few have dark spots a few have light. I think its just some hereditary thing they get from their parents but it could be a new way to tell their sex. You should seperate them and when they are older examine them and right down your findings. You never know what you will find!!!
