i don't know what the above person was talking about. DO NOT USE FLEA SHAMPOO ON A PUPPY THAT YOUNG.
draw up a bath for the puppy with warm water. use a TINY drop of dawn or baby soap. have the puppy sit in the water and ANY part of the body not under water needs to be covered with suds *watch eyes and nose yourself for fleast get them off and dip them into cup of soapy water t o kill* after five minutes COMPLETELY rinse off the puppy and go through. the soap should have killed the fleas so they will be dead and you can comb them out. the ones in the water are either drowned or dead from the soap in the water and you can brush them off too.
also make sure to wash all bedding and to vaccume your entire house.

DO NOT USE A FLEA MEDICINE ON MOTHER OR PUPS. Not even a flea shampoo. NOTHING. The best thing to do is to pick them off yourself. You can also try bathing them in Dawn. We had kittens that were 2 weeks old COVERED in fleas and we gave them a bath using Dawn. It got rid of the problem. And we asked a vet, that's what they said to do. But you must be SUPER careful as to not get any water or anything in their face. If they inhale the water or soap, they could die. And make sure to keep them bundled up in a towel after wards, so they're not cold. Do the same with the mother. And for further reference, it's ALWAYS best to call a vet. As you can see here, the internet is full of idiots. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. Putting flea medicine on pups this young will probably kill them. And for the person who said to give the mother something oral, and then the puppies get it through her milk...NO. NO NO NO! Even that could harm the puppies. Flea medicine is extremely strong and even in small amounts can have great harm to pups this young.

Don't use home remedies, because they don't work, so you'd be wasting your time. Fleas are tough, they can't just be offed by things you'd have laying around the house, like Dawn dish soap or whatever else people on here are going to suggest.
Frontline spray. It can be used on pups and kittens from 2 days of age, so go and get some from your vet.

At the shelter I work at we apply Advantage to kittens as young as two weeks. Never had a problem.
Flea anemia in puppies that size is a WAY bigger concern!!
Next time, DO NOT LET A BIT CH HAVE PUPPIES WITH FLEAS!!

the only way that I know of that doesn't use a chemical is to use a flea comb. That is what I use on my 3 week old kittens. It works b/c the things on the comb are so close, they trap the fleas inbetween them. It is not 100% effective but it works well!

Baby shampoo and a flea or lice comb. But I would wait another week or so to bathe them.
