Which do you prefer?

Little dogs or small dogs?

I like bigger Dogs. When im with little dogs I feel that they are cute and all but not serious like big dogs.But nothings wrong with cute!!I like both but mostly big.
(I have a German SHepherd)
1.They make you feel more protected
2.you can hug them :]
3.You have mmore fun when playing :]

I have two big and two little. I like them both for different reasons. Until about 5 years ago I had only had big dogs. Now that I have little dogs it's like having really well behaved, potty trained puppies. lol. There is something about a big dog that just can't be matched. If I only had one, it would be big. Another bonus with little dogs is they don't take up much space in the bed. Even in the biggest bed it is difficult sleeping with more than a couple big dogs.

I have two big dogs and a small dog and I love them all. They all have something lovable and endearing about them.

My 95 lb, big black mutt has really good manners and is very gentle with people, and he seems to intuitively know when I'm not feeling well or when I need a little extra love.

My Rottie/Aussie mix is the most cheerful dog I've ever met, and he's always wagging his tail and "smiling." He's also really playful.

My little Schipperke seems to think she can run with the big dogs even though she is so small and fuzzy. She loves snuggling on our laps and she gets up on her hind legs and "waves" at us!

So I guess size doesn't matter to me... hehehe... it's what's inside that counts!

If I wanted a little dog I would just get more cats. :-)
I love my black lab to death!!! She is the best. But I just got an English Mastiff too and she is so unique in how dang BIG she is. Very sweet, and training is coming along well and will probably make her a very good girl.

I am personally partial to medium/large size dogs myself. Tho, if I were ever going to have a small breed dog, I would personally favor something of the terrier variety. I just have a preference to the "working" dogs. I love the training that I am doing with my Border Collie right now and can't imagine having a breed that couldn't do most of these things :)

I like big dogs, mainly Blood Hounds. My brother has one and I love her, she is awesome. Not sure why, probably the reasons you listed is why I love them so much. You can rough house with them, where as little dogs you can't because you have to worry about stepping on them.

Big Dogs... Im not really a small dog person... although small dogs are cute.. Bigger dogs are just as cute..or even cuter.. =)

Little dogs are cute...
But I want a DOG! Not a chew toy....
Bigger dogs are more fun! They are huggable, snuggable, and seem to have a lot more patience with kids.

I prefer the bigger dogs. I was raised with german shepards. My dad was the K9 unit for his police department so we always had them. We now have 2 german short haired pointers. Maggie has had one litter of puppies and she is pregnant now. The babies will be born around November 20th. My dad likes the german short haired pointers too now. He took one of my babies!

I love all kinds of big dogs, danes, being my favorite. The only smaller dogs I really like are Shelties.

honestly it depends on the breed for me..
I LOVE big dogs because of them being, well, big! there is more there to love and give love! (mastiff and st. bernard are my favs)
Im not really fond of little dogs because they are so yappy! but give me my english bulldog anyday!! They are a big dog in a small dogs body!
