With deposits & first & last months rents, you may be better off staying right where you are. Ask your landlord if you can work out a deal with him on staying. If you leave, he loses it all b/c it is not in your name. Tell him if he will rent to you, you will assume part of the past due rent...maybe 1 mth. Get the utilities turned back on in your name. You aren't responsible for the account in your boyfriends name. It will save you the cost of moving, looking for a place, & lots of stress. The big thing is talk to the landlord. All he can do is say no & you won't know until you ask.

Is there any way you could catch up on the rent & keep the place you have? Can you talk to the landlord? Would he/she be willing to work with you?

You can also call a few churches to see if they can help. How about relatives? Friends?

You may have a problem with getting a place that will allow dogs and they may have an issue with the Pitt Bull. The cats are another issue, since they shed & claw things & sometimes mess or pee anywhere. (not saying that your's do). I doubt that an apartment will allow all your animals but you can always check to see.

You are up against a rock & a hard place, huh? I would check out the churches or Catholic Charities, sometimes they can help. Rescue missions don't allow pets & you don't have a family to look after so that is out of the question.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to help you with.
Best of luck

God helps those who help themselves. So you need to make every effort you can to solve your problem. You don't get more than you can handle. Life if full of sacrafises (spell checker not working) & Lord knows I have had to loose a lot before I started to see things turn around for me. Just keep plugging along the best way you can.

Do you work? Do you have income? Sometimes you can get temporary help from the county if you're able to pay it back eventually. What about churches or other organizations? You should maybe call your local Social Services office for resource ideas.
Are you having second thoughts about this boyfriend?? You weren't aware of the warrant nor of the fact that he was that far behind on rent and utilities. That doesn't sound like a partnership. It sounds like time to say goodbye and move on.

Can you stay with a friend or a relative?? Maybe you can find someone to stay with, while you save up for your own apartment!! You do not need to live with your boyfriend anymore! Get your own place and don't put your life in anyone Else's hands anymore!!! Good luck, I know you will find a way to keep your family together, just think, one day you will look back on this and think - I MADE IT ON MY OWN!!!!

Some of the local animal shelters or local rescue groups may help you in the way of fostering your animals while you get yourself together. Contact your crisis line for this information. If you can't find the number ask the operator to connect you. Good luck.

Lots of places take pets. It's going to be the deposits and getting into someplace on your own that will be hardest, but that's life. Be sure to take your kids with you; you all need each other more than ever!

Oh dear! Try www.craigslist.org for your area!!!

Also, call local humane society, they sometimes have lists of pet friendly communities!!!

Check with your local vet as well, he/she may have a housing list as well, local paper will have rentals available, etc.
