she's long haired, white with charcoal grey on her head and tail. One of her eyes is a striking blue, the other eye is pale torquise blue and light yellow. I like unusal names... something that would indicate magic or the mystical, though I don't want to use those as names. Thank you in advance.

I have a 7 month old Doberman Pinscher. She's very big already, almost as tall as my German Shepherd. She constantly wants to sit in my lap, and does so if I'm sitting on the floor. If I'm in a chair, she'll jump up and lay her upper body and head on my lap. She does this also if I'm in the car, her need to climb into my lap, which has stopped me from bringing her riding. At night she insists on sharing my pillow with me, and nudging me until I raise up the covers for her to sleep under. Basically, she sleeps like a human. She steals my pillow too, and I can't make her move unless I go to the other side of the bed to sleep, then she gets up and does the same. I love her dearly but sometimes it's too much, because she's so big. I have several other dogs, but they act like dogs, not like clingy children. She gets worried too if I'm not around; she paces back and forth. Plus, she doesn't really like anyone but me and my mom. Am I stuck with a big baby? Or will she grow out of this?

I keep my dog in slim, athletic condition to keep her healthy - I've read that dogs kept to a lean healthy weight live longer, develop arthritis later in life, and are less likely overall to have joint and other overweight-related health problems.

But so many people where I live have fat dogs that they often seem to be shocked by my 'skinny' dog (she's not skinny - she has a slim build and is a healthy lean weight). I don't want to get into lectures about overweight pets - that's for their vets to tell them. What's the best way to respond to such comments?

My puppy is in all other ways a wonderful example of a Saint, and her parents were as well. I have another adult Saint that I chose not to breed because he is a wonderful pet but not the best example of the breed, however, my puppy is and I'm wondering if the half mask or other markings should stop me from breeding her.

I have a five month old Siames. Her fur has always been sleek and smooth. I have noticed past two weeks now her fur on her back is ruffled (like when a cat is sick or something).
She did suffer an inner ear infection, got cleared up.
Anyway, would anyone know what is going on with her fur?
Would appreciate any advise or opions. Thank you very much.
God Bless.

I have a 1.5 year calico cat. She is precious too me. I found her when she was only a month old and we have been together ever since. She waits for me to come home from work and she sleeps with me every night. I left home to go to college about 2 months ago. My mom say my cat follows her around now and sleeps with her. Will she remember me when I come back for Christmas break?

My neighbor found a litter of stray kittens under her house. 1 disapeared for about a weak. When it made it back it was bleeding & week. It seems ok now(2 weeks later) except its but hole is swollen & tends to lightly leak. I just found out about the kitten today & brought it home. I plan on taking it to the vet Mon. Any suggestions that may help until then would be great.

I took in 2 somewhat feral cats living in my backyard woods. They are fairly good with me but no one else in my family yet. They must have been around some people at one time but never inside since they are afraid of the tv, washing machine, dishwasher etc...It has been a month and they still stay in my sun room. They have been to vet with clean health and received all shots and are fixed. How long will it take them to adjust and how do I get them around my other 2 cats?

I have been doing some research on bearded dragons and so I decided to get one. I brought home a small beardie.

That day he kept on shutting his eyes for a long period of time then opening them minutes later. He only ate three crickets. I thought young beardies eat alot?

Is there something wrong? I'm especially worried about the shutting eyes bit. He does that when I'm handling him

I have had my 29 gallon tank up and going for almost two months and ever since it has been going, the water has always been cloudy. I started with a whisper 30 PF, got rid of it after a week(it was crap). Then i bought a Hagen aquaclear 30, and i use the foam block with two bio max packs. The water cleared up somewhat but is still cloudy. So i just bought another Hagen aquaclear 30 with the same media setup. Should this cure my problem? The two total up to 300 gph, which means my water is cycling through 10 times per hour.

i have heard that its true and that it is also a myth, i give my bearded dragon water that drips into a dish and i also mist him with water from time to time, i do notice the water rolling down his head and he sticks his tongue out to drink it. but is it true that they also absorb the water into their skin rather than drinking it? i also give him fresh greens every day as well as feeding him crickets. thanks for your answers!!!
