My first suggestion would be for you to ask her to take it back from you, that you're not enjoying it as a pet and would rather not have it. My second suggestion would be that a pet store will take it for you. Don't injure it.
Guess hamsters just aren't your thing.

Can't believe you called a hamster 'evil'?! No animals are evil, the only evil animals are human beings! Many pet shops take unwanted animals for adoption. Or, take it to the vet, they'll find very kind people to adopt it, especially those owners who just lost their hamsters. Probably the vet or the nurse themselves might adopt it. You're bigger than it, it just scared of you.

Maybe instead of getting rid of it you could try getting her to take it back by simply telling her that you can't take care of it like you thought you could. It's not a lie; you said you can't deal with its evil, so its not being untruthful. Just tell her that the hamster is a lot more to deal with than you were ready to take on, and leave it at that. Don't go into major detail; that'll only make her suspicious.

Hamsters, though most of the time are very cute and cuddly, can be EVIL, I had a friend that bought a bunch from the store and put like five of them in a have-a-trail cage, and one by one they disappeared, one hamster was killing all the others for lunch, I guess it had not climbed the evolution ladder as high as the others and was still in its kill or be killed stage.
Give it back or give it to someone else, if there are no takers pretend its a dead gold fish.

A pet store would be more than happy to take it. Also try a animal shelter. They can take some pretty odd animals! Don't just set it free in the wild or even worse...hurt it. Tell your friend that you just weren't enjoying it as much as you had hoped. You'll have to confront her some time, mine as well do it soon or before you give the hampster away...she may want it back.

you should purchase a cage with the hamster, alongside with somewhat nutrients. one in all those hamster incredibly relies upon on her; if she is keen to spend hours with it on a daily basis, then a small jumpy hamster is the excellent for her. If she would be ready to furnish it as lots interest it desires, and much less or much less, a regualr sized short hair would be solid, and if she needs one for cuddling, choose for a teddy undergo. in case you nonetheless do not understand, in basic terms get the only that sounds like her!

There is no such thing as an evil hampster so if you don't want it, start calling veterinarians who may take it in and put it up for adoption.

You can make your friend happy by giving it another chance or you can take it to a vet or a pet store and ask them if they would take it
