I'm a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen, and I know that his daughter,Jessica is a star on the horse show circuit.I was just wondering if anyone on here who shows horses has been lucky enough to meet her or her family at a show, and if so ,what are they like?

Most of the time, that happens. This stray cat that hangs around my apartment usually runs away from me on any ordinary day, but tonight, I had a fresh bath & she wanted to be ALL over me, & she thought I had food. She kept trying to lick me & jump, like as if I had food. When I don't have a fresh bath, she tries to avoid me.

I just bought a 20 gallon tank for my common goldfish because the 3 gallon tank he is living in now is too small. I rinsed out the new tank, filled it with tap water, rinsed new gravel and added it to the tank, added a new filter, and put in half a cup of gravel and two cups of water from my goldfish's current tank. I added a dissolving tablet that is supposed to level out the pH and remove chlorine and give beneficial bacteria for starting tanks. I read somewhere that I can wait 24 hours and the tank will be cycled and ready to add my goldfish. Is this true? Or do I need to do a few more things? Please help, he is my only fish and I don't want him to die!

I had my GSD pair in a kennel together today for the first time durring this heat. Once they tied/ seperated, I had to go out of town on an errand. Since they grew up together and got along well I left them in the same Kennel. about 5-6hrs later I cam home to my female outside of the kennel (6ft tall, so how she got out is still in question,) in a field nearby. I spoke to neighbors, asking if they had noticed any males near her etc. None had, but I know of a couple males not far away who can get out of their yards. How likely is it that another male could have gotten her pregnant? I do not know if they tied again, but I do know they were together for just under 30min, and she for sure was in the kennel for an hour after. Also if all you recommend is for me to fix my dogs etc., this isn't going to happen, so despite it being a public forum, you're wasting your time if this is all you have to say.

Surprising isn't it, something that we find so delectable, but it is deadly poison to them.

Southern California is having a drought. (Not sure about Northern?) Now I'm feeling really guilty and water changes and using tons of water for my fish? How is everyone coping with this? I'm really considering converting my bigtanks into the "All Natural" method, so that I don't have to change water for a long time (3-6 months!) PLEASE, don't be ridiculous and say it's not possible, as it is, because I've done it, and many people have done it.

My Pug Delivered 6 healthy pups with no problems at all. She was doing great and then 24 hours later she is starting to pant very heavily. There is no abnormal discharge, and everything else seems fine. Puppies are eating great and she is being a great mom...why the very heavy panting?

I have a 5 moth old puppy. I got her from the pound, and so idk what breed or mix she is. The pound said rottweiler chow mix. I think something else, because she only weighs like 15 - 30 pounds. This is not a picture of her, i will post one of her soon, but this is what she looks like, exept she has cropped ears. But otherwhise this is exactly what she looks like.
The ears are natural cropped. I picked her up when she was only 7 weeks and her ears were down. Then they cropped at 4 monthes, now shes 5 moths.

what precautions should i take so that he doesn't get injuries or strains his muscles? i also give him Omega-3 oil for his skin.
am i doing the right thing by making him run? (only started this routine yesterday!)
by running on hard surfaces, will he develop permanent injuries, joint problems etc?
since he is running on tar/concrete roads, does he need any additional supplements (such as joint lubrication? etc)
he enjoys every moment of his running and usually make him run for about 15-minutes while i bicycle.
i feed him on lamb and rice in the afternoons and Pedigree (formulated pellets) at nights. would be grateful for tips.

i have a male dalmation molly that ive now had for about 2 years now. when i had female mollies, it would always chase them and actually act like a male. but then, after the molly that he used to only chase (his "wife" haha. )died, he started acting weird. even though i have two other female mollies in the tank, he only goes for this one male molly his SON( even if i have another male also, and i know that fishes dont know whether they are family or not though. just saying that he's going for his own son). and it's not just normal chasing, it's like, "wanting to mate" chasing.

My cat is 17 years old and is skin and bones. She is continually losing weight but has gotten full blood tests and the vet couldn't believe she was so old because the tests came back so perfect. So eliminate illness. Her teeth aren't great in fact she missing a few so she won't eat dry food, but she eats wet food constantly. She eats a packet of wet food five times a day and won't gain a pound. In fact she often acts like she is ravished. What else can I safely do to help her put on weight. Her behaviors and personality haven't changed so I'm not sure she's on her "way out" just yet. I just want her to feel full and gain a pound or two. Thanks in advance!
