My mother mixed some rice with rat poison and put it into the corners of our house. I know it so i'm checking my dog and the poisons from time to time if he has eaten any. Then I had something to do so i unintentionally left my dog for a couple of minutes until i remembered the poisons so i checked it again. . The rat poison in a particular corner of our house was gone, the only thing left was the rice and I'm worried, my dog might have eaten it. .

So immediately gave her sugar and search the net and i found this peroxide thingy and gave her that. I also touched her throat so she'll surely vomit. After a couple of minutes, she vomitted, it's quite many, looks like digested food coz it's already in a liquid yellowish form with some white sticky thing but there are no blackish nor bluish nor brownish thing. I believe that if she ate the poison, there would be at least a small amount of poison when she vomitted. .

Do you think she had eaten the poison?

3 weeks ago, I brought home a 2 day old kitten. His eyes were still closed at that time. I also have another cat, a 5 year old female ragdoll cat who was spayed 4 years ago. Initially, my older cat, Tammy, was rather stressed by the "intruder" and was not eating well for a few days and often hide somewhere away from the screaming kitten. However, after the little kitten opened his eyes and started walking about at about 2 weeks, my older cat started to exhibit strange behaviours towards the new kitten. She started to lick the kitten, especially the ears, whenever she got the chance and most shocking of all, I saw her lick his genitals and when he starts to pee, she drank it all up!!! Eewwww... I argued with my wife, saying that some maternal instinct probably kicked in but she says spayed cats can't develop maternal instincts coz no hormone production or whatever. What could be going on?

Does anyone know of any simple recipes for sauces or gravys or side dishes I could put with the steak we are cooking for dinner tonight.

How can I make the dish more exciting or flavoursome?

I have two cute white maltese/jack russel puppies. One has a brown/black/white face and the other is white all over. They both love having a bath and dressing up. What are some cute ideas for my dogs like dress up ideas? Is there anything I could do with their hair that would be cute?

-2 cory cats
-2 dwarf gourami
-3 male guppies
-3 female guppies
-6 amano shrimp
-6 ghost shrimp
-3 african dwarf frogs

im not concerned with the size of my tank. i just want to make sure all my fish are compatable with eachother. ive had bad experiences with my guppies as two of them were killed by killifish and silver mollies. ive removed the killifish and silver mollies, and i just want to make sure all the inhabitants of my aquarium are safe. i know guppies are vulnerable. do you think the anyone in the tank is a threat? please explain any concerns.

I'm just a little concerned if he is... he is a turquoise parrot. I'm not sure if he is underweight or normal.

In the photo, he is standing up straight because he is alert to a dog barking, so he may be stretching himself slightly.

Well, my dog got sprayed by a skunk because she chased after it. we managed to get the smell out by using baking soda, liquid soap, and hydrogen peroxide. but she is now drooling very badly. theres literally spots on my blanket where she has laid and drooled.

I was sitting on my computer and looked over and noticed my cat stalking me. And right before he pounced, he wiggled his butt. Why do cats do this?

About 2 days ago we noticed that a few of our fish had come down with white spot (Ich), and we immediatley took steps to treat it (according to info given by our local aquarium place).

This morning we found our 10-year-old Synodontis upside-down in the tank, breathing normally and happily eating food. He seems to be fine swimming, it's just that when he stops he floats belly-up again.

Do you think he will go soon, or do you think that there is any chance or recovery? If so, are there any steps we should be taking to help? I hear that they are very hardy but I'm not sure how he'll go with this one...

It's such a shame because we've had him for so long, so serious answers will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

alrite so our new dog, miniature pinscher is in the crate at nite. he usually barks for a long time til he gets tired,or falls asleep. tonite, we're gonna put the crate at the side of the bed. is that the rite thing to do? like he won't get too attached will he? also open to suggestions but i'd like if they come from dog owners who used crates.

oh and yes- we let him "go" outside before we put him in, and we also wake up early to let him go again outside.

and he's not crated during the day unless we're not home.
