My mother mixed some rice with rat poison and put it into the corners of our house. I know it so i'm checking my dog and the poisons from time to time if he has eaten any. Then I had something to do so i unintentionally left my dog for a couple of minutes until i remembered the poisons so i checked it again. . The rat poison in a particular corner of our house was gone, the only thing left was the rice and I'm worried, my dog might have eaten it. .
So immediately gave her sugar and search the net and i found this peroxide thingy and gave her that. I also touched her throat so she'll surely vomit. After a couple of minutes, she vomitted, it's quite many, looks like digested food coz it's already in a liquid yellowish form with some white sticky thing but there are no blackish nor bluish nor brownish thing. I believe that if she ate the poison, there would be at least a small amount of poison when she vomitted. .
Do you think she had eaten the poison?

Edit:
Is the treatment for this costs very high? Coz i'm alone here in our house and i have no money with me. T.T I am very worried and there are no animal hospitals here, only a vet clinic that is only open 8am to 5pm and it's already night here. When she vomitted, there is no rat poison and if she had eaten it, it's only an hour or a couple of minutes so i believe she must vomit even a small amount of the poison, but then again, i saw no poison in her puke.

I called the vet and thank God she was still there! I told her what i did and she said that my pet might have NOT eaten the poison but the bad thing is I gave my pet 1 teaspoon of PURE hydrogen peroxide (which i learned from the net, they didn't mention that i it should go with water) and she said that it's so hot that it'll burn my dog's esophagus. She said that i have to observe the dog if she'll vomit continuously, or with blood, or anything else.

tnx for those who replied, i'll keep my eye on my dog just like what the vet said on the phone.
For those who are so mean, If i am like what you just said then i woudn't bother posting here and just leave my pet alone. I'm doing what i should do and at the same time asking here for a little help coz this will help too. I just coudn't take my pet to the vet immediately coz i'm alone here and don't have any money with me.

You did very good in making her throw up!!! I knew salty water makes dogs vomit and that milk is very bad for them because soem poisons disolve in milk. I didnt know about sugar.
Why does your mother do that? Doesnt she know she can hurt the dog? This is called irresponsability and cruelty.
Please try to get your dog to a vet just to make sure she will be alright.

I feared My little chihuahua had eaten rat poison once, called the vet and was informed to give peroxide, he vomited within minutes and is still alive today. I do not believe it burns their throat, but then again I am not a vet.

I'm not going to be rude at all. Your dads dog should be just fine. He did all the right things and the vet did all the right things too. Now your dad has to get the rat poison out of the dogs reach. Hope he's back to him self by tomorrow.

My friend if you know your dog might have eaten poison, why are you waiting around for answers when you should rush your dog immediately to the vet before anything serious happens and you lose the dog. Use your common sense man.

If you THINK she ate rat poison, she needs to go to the emergency vet. NOW. And hydrogen peroxide is ok to give. You don't need to dilute it with water. A teaspoon is fine to help the dog throw up quickly. It will not burn the esophugus.

Why would you even waste time asking a question like this? The dog needs to be at a vet right away.
I'm praying the dog will be okay.
