Laugh! Why fret? If you can , he can, NO its not going to kill him or make him sick The amount of chocolate in a cookie is real small and mind you though they say its bad for a dog to eat choc- I have kept dogs for 4+ decades and they have always been given a bit here and there! and have never had any problem- its the amount you feed it
Mine have even had onions cooked in their food, and many other things that Vets say is Poison for them and each one has lived for over 14 years!
I don't suggest that you do not follow the vets advise but don't get paranoid like most do, use your intelligence please

Your furbaby will be okay. It's baked chocolate that is the no no. An occasional chocolate chip cookie won't harm them. It also depends on the size of the dog. My dog ate a small piece of rich chocolate cake, she's about 62 lbs and the vet said she will be okay. The only thing it probably would have done was upset her stomach.

Just keep an eye on him for now. I had a doxie who at half a chocolate bar, and was still fine. Look up the number of the nearest emergency vet, and look for any signs that your dog might not be feeling well.

But four small cookies probably isn't enough chocolate to cause major illness.

the amount of chocolate in small cookies shouldn't hurt him. but just to be sure keep an eye on him. you probably don't need to but if your dog ever eats something he shouldn't like a pill you drop on the floor or something a teaspoon of peroxide will make him throw it up. i dont think you should worry to much though.

He's fine. There's plenty of things in cookies besides the actual chocolate ingredient which would harm him-cookies are watered down with sugar, flour, milk, ETC.

However, watch him, and see, if he gives you the opportunity, how he is getting up onto the table. Then, fix the problem. :o)

it dependson how small they are. and eating chocolate is like poison for dogs. so i would try to eliminate all ways for him to get on the table. and hes probably gonna be sick for im not sure how long. but hes gonna regret eating those cookies. but still scold him for doing that. its a very bad habit

He should be ok. My dog ate some chocolate by itself and she was fine, so i reackon you should just watch your dog, if anything changes (his diet, sleeping habits, any strange behaviour etc.) take him straight to the vet, and tell them what happened.
But he should be okay.

Good Luck!

Chocolate is poisonous to dogs. Call your vet and tell him how much your dog ate. If your dog isn't vomiting yet it should be fine.

Maybe give him some milk to go with the cookies.
May try keeping the chairs under the table so he can not climb up there if you want to keep your cookies, he know where they are now.
