The cat is named Mork. His father Linus just died and was about 20, so he must've lived a healthy life. Ever since my grandma moved to an apartment, she hasn't been able to go to the vet. She won't let us take him either. The cat has lots of knots in his fur and vomits more often then a normal cat does. What should I do?

there is a nasty tom cat coming onto my property. He is a real problem because he beats up my 7 yr old female cat (she is spayed) and he sprays all over the place and it STINKS. I have tried throwing water at him but he is around at night so I cant see him.The smell is gross. How do I stop him coming around here? I dont know who owns him but he is driving me mad and really upsetting my cat.I even have a chihuahua who chases him but he just jumps up high to get away. HELP

before my mom leaves for work around 8ish she takes my dog outside and lets her poop and pee. yesterday and today ive woken up around 10 and found that she pooped on the floor. could this be because we changed our dogs food? (our vet told us to because she was overweight) about 3 days ago we switched from purina beneful to purina trim and fit. does anyone know of a good dog food that will help her lose a bit of weight and not make her need to go to the bathroom as much? nothing to expensive...
thanks

Ok, so I have a mexican hairless dog. He's 6 years old.
Usually I fed him all kinds of wet dog-food. But I found this diet to be bad for his teeth and overall not healthy.
We bought a couple of dry foods (different brands, mostly organic) for him but he refuses to eat that stuff.
I also slowly reduced his wet food consume.
He gets veggies, too. They seem to be somewhat liked.

I have been reading a lot about training and everything I read says you should reward him with a treat, but if you add all the things up that you are supposed to reward for that could be 100 or more treats per day. Anything else really effective besides treats. I don't mind giving him the treats if I knew it was healthy, but I have a hard time believing its ok to do this.

Thanks to a very good answer yesterday concerning an all white kitten of mine, we have learned that she is deaf. My next question, is how to care for her? I know she won't be able to go outside now, but other than that, what else won't she be able to do that normal cats do? How would I teach her right from wrong if she can't hear my tone of voice? Does anyone have a deaf cat, raised from kitten who would be able to help me out, or show me a website? Thanks in advance. She's about 9 weeks old.

I am looking for a puppy....I just lost my 5y/o shih tzu and want a new puppy. A friend showed me a local site to search. I found a yorkie puppy that all was needed was $69 for paperwork....I knew it was too good to be true but was stupid and sent the money.......My husband found that this person has numerous ads for the same puppy in many states. the individual had a yahoo email and I would like to report them and the shady activities they are doing thru this account. I am sure I wont get my money back but I guess I will chalk it up to a learning experience and to know to go with the gut at all times.....So how do I report this person so they dont scam anyone else?

I was trying to give one of our cats her medication through her mouth, but was having trouble since I had never done it by myself before. While I was trying to get her mouth to open up, one of her paws got free of the towel I was restraining her with, and she scratched at my face, but ended up getting one of her claws INSIDE my nose, which made it bleed.

This cat is an outside cat, and does eat small wild animals on occasion, so I'm a little worried about some sort of infection, but I'm not sure how to go about cleaning the wound, since it's in my nose.

Any suggestions or advice?

Hi all,
As I said I am new to dog ownership having always had cats I presently have 3 cats and now my Golden Retriever that I already love dearly. She is ten weeks I have had her for two weeks. she is so clever she will sit when I tell her to and comes when I call her. I had done all my research on the breed but I think nothing is as good as the advice from people that know the breed and have lived with them so really I would greatly appreciate any tips on toilet training I have been getting up every morning at six thirty to let her out I dont mind finding a little accident as I understand she is only a baby but the problem is this we could be out in the garden for an hour and she will wait untill we go back into the house to relieve herself and not in any particular spot it can be anywhere rugs being her particular favorite so I have taken them up. 2. plant eating I don't want to build a run as she lives indoors as part of the family with daily access to the garden when she wants

I'm having such a hard time finding a third set of fish to put in my tank! My tank is 30 gallon and I have 2 gouramis(dwarf and a gold) and 3 angel fish. Each fish is about 1.5 inches long. I really don't want tetra because they aren't very attractive to me (sorry tetra lovers!) unless there is a species with more vibrant colors. If someone could give me suggestions, I'd appreciate it!

I have a 7 month old kitten. I have had two foster babies for almost 8 weeks now. I got them when they were one week old. My 7 month old has never had a problem with them. He would play fight with them once they could actually walk and run around. He would lick them and clean them.

Yesterday I took both of them back to the shelter because they were due for their first set of shots. The male baby kitten also got neutered. The female baby couldn't be spayed yet because she's too young.

So anyway, I brought them home, and ever since yesterday, after coming home from the vet, my 7 month old has been hissing at them. He has never done this before. It almost seems like he is hissing more at the male baby then the female baby.

Why do you think he is behaving this way after 7 weeks of having them in the house?

I'm asking alot of questions today, but anyways, My 10 month old cat has always had nasal problems when she went for her first vet visit they said she may have scar tissue in her nasal passage. It makes her weez, and she snores, today while petting her it started making a whistling noise, is it possible its getting worse? can scar tissue continue to grow if thats whats causing it? It doesnt seem to bother her she doesnt breath through her mouth or anything.

I watched the news video about it and saw only dogs getting it, Is is something a cat can get also? my cats dont go outside unless on a leash and supervised (we live next to a major road and I dont need them getting ran over or eaten by the animals that live in the woods behind my house) but it seems like a dog can pick it up pretty easily is this something I should be concerened about?
