Does anyone know of any simple recipes for sauces or gravys or side dishes I could put with the steak we are cooking for dinner tonight.
How can I make the dish more exciting or flavoursome?

I know what your family and pup will enjoy with the steak..........throw some prawns in a fry pan with garlic to taste, cook thru then dollop in some sour cream, dash of lime sauce, salt and pepper to taste and if you like it hot a chilly or two then pour sauce on top of steak........Yummmmmmm!!!!

Try a nice Steak Dianne sauce or a creamy mushroom sauce which you can easily get off the net. Just type in Steak Sauces and see what comes up. Happy hunting.

Get a few cups of sliced mushrooms , cook them with chunk of butter , add the steaks , a few drops of vinegar and worshtishire steak sauce.Cook untill the steaks cook , then the mix turns dark and the butter seperates.
I made this up on night and it is hell tasty ( plus you get the goodies in mushrooms).

pretend you are eating out....
- mashed or baked potatoes
- fresh salad/ coleslaw
- corn, carrots, and peas!
- dont forget that gravy.....
p.s. : i think your question is supposed to be in the food category, unless you are gonna feed the steak to your dog too, then, your pup will surely love the sauce with the meat itself. Enjoy!!!

Are ya feeding it to the dog? LOL I think you're in the wrong category. But you sure have me drooling like Pavlov's dogs! Steak always goes well with baked potatoes. :-)

YOU CAN HAVE BAKED POTATOES AND SERVE IT CUT DOWN THE MIDDLE W/ PEPPRIKA, FOR COLOR AND SOUR CREAM IN A SM DISH FOR PPL THAT LIKE IT ON THEIR POTATOE...POTATOE SALAD IS GOOD W/ STEAK AND LOOKS GOOD NEXT TO IT...A VEGGIE, LIKE BROCCOLI OR SPINACH FOR PPL THAT LIKE IT...LOL...BROCCOLI CAN HAVE A CHEESE SAUSE OVER IT...AND YOU CAN ALSO MAKE GARLIC BREAD OUT OF HAMBURGER BUNS TO HAVE W/ IT TOO...YUM, NOW I'M HUNGRY!!!!
