They're trying to be so sly.... but I think they do it so that they can get back on their hind legs for maximum pounce potential, possible even to help get their balance before leaping toward their prey....or in this case you!

i could anticipate that is because of the fact they're getting their footing in training to push off and pounce on their "sufferer." that is resembling a golfer moving his weight from one foot to a distinctive and getting his stability in the past locking right down to make the putt.

My cat does it and it is adorable. All I have to do is look at him and go wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and he starts doing it.

WELL THEY ARE ACTUALLY GETTING THEIR LEGS IN POSTION SO THEY CAN JUMP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. tHEY ARE AIMING AT THEIR PREY WHICH UNFORTUNATELY MIGHT BE YOU AT TIMES.
