I am going to get another dog soon. But I want to make sure that my beagle and that breed will get along and won't fight. So what I'm asking is, what breeds are good with beagles. I might get a mix from the shelter, so do mixes get along with beagles? Don't answer saying the responsibility about owning another dog, I know that!!! I just want some answers straight out, no confusion. Thank you. Please give me some links to go to if you have any.

My male rabbit really struggling with the fact he cant get in the cage with my female rabbit!! As soon as he sees her he goes mad an climbs up the cage and bites it an all sorts. Usually calms down after the inital sewing her lol but i dont think its fair on him, he just sits there and stares at her and visa versa, If i got him the snip, would i then be able to put them in a run together without them fighting or anything. Would still keep them in there seperate cages but just put them together in the garden run. Many thanks for your help.

All of the fish in my tank recently died by a really fast growing white slime/fluff that covered them - it happened quite quickly - within two days. Started off as a few tufts on one or two then they were all completely covered and the tank went foggy. The poor things seemed to be suffocated to death and even though I tried adding a few medications to the tank it didn't stop it. It was very upsetting and I'd like to make sure it never happens again. I've cleaned the tank out completely and thrown out all of the gravel, equipment etc but not keen to start again until I'm better prepared!!

Hello, thanks for comming and reading this much appreciated.
I always have to walk home from school every weekday, I go home later than others so when I walk home no one is around to help me when I walk home. WHich is 1 KM walk from my school.

I have a huge fear of dogs and have been attacked from dogs from walking home one time. There were two dogs. I yelled at them and gonna pat them but they started barking and I started to yell at them and they got more angry and I cried so much and yelling for help... The dogs bit my skin off so i walked home with a bleeding leg.

Is there any way to protect myself from dogs, cos I just never want to walk home ever again with the fear of dogs comming to hurt me. Im a really defence-less 12 yr old girl.

okay i dont know for sure if my cat has ringworm because i havent taken her to the vet yet but i described her symptoms on here and people said it sounded like ringworm...and i was just wondering how a cat can get ringworm other than from humans...cuz a couple of days ago a squirrel was eating from our bird feeder and my mom opened our sliding door and my cat got out and chased the squirrel up the tree. soo high that you couldnt see her or the squirrel and i dont know if maybe she got bitten or scratched by that squirrel and it had ringworm and gave it to her...if squirrels can even have ringworm... i was just wondering how cats get ringworm in the first place and if the whole squirrel, tree, cat, scratch, bite, ringworm thing is possible...

I have two 10 gallon tanks. In them I have an Oto and a Pleco. The Pleco, how ever, we are searching for a new tank for (since he will soon grow too big) and currently they aren't doing a good job of keeping the tank clean.

there's dark green algae everywhere! I'm going to get 2 to 3 more Otos to stay in the female guppies' tank, while the Pleco can stay in the males. The male's tank, however, is where the Pleco and Oto are staying now, since it's covered in slime, and the job isn't getting done.

Anyway, I'd like a list of different algae eaters that do great in a tropical community. I DO NOT WANT GHOST SHRIMP!

My long-hair chihuahua is registered in the AKC (American Kennel Club). She is pure bred. The AKC standard says chihuahuas are not supposed to weigh more than 6 pounds but my chihuahua weighs 8 pounds. Are they going to kick her out of their kennel club if they find out my dog has gained some weight?

my cat is sick...i have another question posted on here describing how she is sick...and alot of people are saying she has ringworm and ear mites...i have 5 cats other than my sick one..she is almost 2 years,then i have a male thats almost 2 years, a male and a female that are both 8 months and two 9 week old males..how fast do ear mites and ringworm spread to other cats that are in the same household??? and the 4 younger cats are always cuddling with her and around her all the time [they are her kids]...people also said that ringworm can be passed onto humans...how fast does that happen???and can ringworm be transfer throw my cat breast feeding they nine week old kittens[i know they shouldnt be anymore but they continue to]????? i know what im saying is probably very confusing...but does anyone have an answer for me???

When i let my puppy outside in our backyard to chill and play by her self. Sometimes when she lies down and see flies moving she starts to bark because they are moving quick and is probably confusing her? How can i stop her behavior? My puppy also barks when i leave like i have a little play den in my backyard and when i go out out of the playden she starts barking, im guessing she wants to come with me too, but she needs to know not to bark.

My new puppy won't stop chasing my cat. I LOVE my cat and am feeling so guilty about bringing the new puppy in. Now my cat can't even get to her food, water, and litter box without being chased back upstairs! What should I do? I am trying to crate train the puppy for when we are not home but it really scares and saddens me to see my cat so frightened all the time. I'm also afraid of what would happen if the dog actually caught the cat. I sharply reprimand each time it happens and praise the puppy when he ignores the cat.

We have this lady on our block that won't get her cats spayed. All three cats have a litter of kittens every time they go into heat. None of the kittens ever see a vet (their eyes are always crusty and noses are drippy) and even worse, sometimes we find them in the middle of street after they have been hit by a car. Our local animal control won't pick up cats because they are "free roaming animals" (seriously that is what the animal control officer said). What can we do as neighbors to get this lady to start taking care of her cats?

If a cat has been separated from its mother for several years since it was given a new home at the age of 6-8 months old, will the mother and its now grown offspring recognize each other if they are reunited, or will they not recognize each other at all? Is a kitten (that is separated from the mother) too young to form a memory of its mother?

I've always wondered about this.

hey everyone what's up? well i have a few budgie questions that i need some answers on: first of all, i have a now 4 month old budgie and it all of a sudden started to rub its beak/head against its perch and the side of its cage,why is it doing that? also can someone please tell me how to train my budgie to come to me when it's on the floor and stuff and how can i teach my budgie to not fly away from me when it's out of its cage and on my finger ? last question,can budgies see in the dark?when i leave my room at night i turn off my light and turn on a nightlight for him but i'm not so sure that it shines torward him so do i need to do anything differently? thanx! p.s.i like converse!=p

he chews on absolutly EVERYTHING - from digital cameras to furnature. everything he sees he chews.
