When i let my puppy outside in our backyard to chill and play by her self. Sometimes when she lies down and see flies moving she starts to bark because they are moving quick and is probably confusing her? How can i stop her behavior? My puppy also barks when i leave like i have a little play den in my backyard and when i go out out of the playden she starts barking, im guessing she wants to come with me too, but she needs to know not to bark.

oops i forgot to add this. She barks when she sees other dogs im guessing she wants to play or is afraid i know i need to socialize, but i will do that when she gets her 2nd shot. She also barks at little kids like the age of 5 little babies.

Barking in dogs, is like humans talking. It is a way of communitcation. However if you really wish this behavior to stop, you must give the puppy no attetion when she barks for you. The most likely cause of this barking however, is because she is a puppy, most dogs grow out of it by one year. She is a puppy though and needs lots of attention, that may be one reason she is barking to tell you she wants to play more.

ALL dogs due bark so i agree with the first answer maybe a puppy is NOT for you if you dont like barking.

All puppies will do that we had one puppy out of the whole litter out of 11 that barked so much at everything. You should of done some research on puppies before getting one.

I would like to ask the breed of your puppy? Some dogs are bred to bark and this is their forte. This would help out a little when answering this question.

Get a squirt gun and give her a quick squirt if she barks near you. Other than that pay no attention to her barking. Eventually she will stop, hopefully.

If you don't want your puppy to act like a puppy, why did you get it in the first place? Trade it in for a goldfish. And don't have any kids.
