Her name is Delilah and she's almost two months old. She lives with with two other dogs in the house but is alone when it's bed time. Every night before I'm about to go to sleep she goes nuts, bouncing from the bed to one corner at lightning speed. She will also attack anything that moves the slightest bit. I'll try to play with her for a bit, so I can get some rest, but nothing works. And if I try to ignore it and go to bed she'll attack everything from my toes, hands, shoulders, and eyes. Is there anything I can do?

My cat has ceased to groom and even though she is a short haired cat, is getting matted. She has all her shots and seems to be otherwise healthy. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

Incidentally and not to confuse the issue, this cat has many features of human autism. She hates to be touched, can't manage any kind of noise like dishes being moved, etc. She is very aloof and in her own little world. The only time she shows any affection is when she is waiting for her food.

Put simply, is it a risky surgery? Is it possible that the cat could die?

silly question i know, but it was a background for a quarrel, where i backed up the version that if one is downhill the snake might "jump" and bite. so anyone can give me any detail about this

I was look at my fish every day for about 5-10 minutes, just to see if everything is going OK. While looking at my Betta Fish he opened his mouth really wide then closed it, and no he didn't go up for air. He did this about a couple of times already. Also lately my Betta has been flaring a lot at me for no reason. Maybe the two are connected somehow?
I know fish don't sleep they 'rest' so I thought maybe my fish is yawning, so I turned off my tank's light and now my Betta Fish is in the little hole under his castle. Is this normal or is this some sort of diesase? He didn't do something like this before, I just got him about a little less than a month ago, and yesterday I did my weekly water change. Maybe it was because of that?
Sorry, but I can't get a picture for you because my Betta does it pretty fast.
Can you please help?
Thanks!

Is it okay to feed my puppy raw chicken drumsticks. She is a rottweiler, 8 months old. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I heard, cooked is more brittle, but raw is more flexible. Thanks in advance.

I have one of the in tank monitors for ammonia level in my new uncycled 10 gallon. I had figured that if the ammonia got too high I could just do a partial water change to maintain good levles. When the ammonia got just slightly high we did a like 30% water change with a siphon. The next day the ammonia had only gotten higher. After it still hadnt evened out after like two days we did another water change. Still we saw no difference in the ammonia level. Even if our filter wasnt working it should have lowered the levels a bit simply by diluting the concentration of ammonia in the water. We are using the Live NH3 ammonia monitor (in tank) by Mardel. We had thought that maybe it just doesnt reset after the ammonia levels elevate and have put the test in clean water in a glass to see if it resets. Does anyone have any experience with this. After a few water changes within maybe a week we are still seeing the test read only higher and higher levels. HELP!!

i've had my dog for six months and i l love him very much. He was given to us by friends who could no longer keep him. They had him for a few months before they gave him to me- he was given to them by a removed family member (i'm not sure of their relationship) who was my dog's original owner. They installed a chip in my dog and their information is on it. i do not know them and i have no direct contact with them. i have asked my friends repeatedly to get the information from this person, but he is supposedly blowing them off. i desperately don't want something to happen to my dog and have whoever finds him contact this person i don't know who doesn't want him and clearly doesn't have their *!@$ together. The also originally got him all his shots, but i have no proof- they have all the paperwork (they have told my friends they have it somewhere). How am i supposed to take my dog to get the information on the chip changed? Won't they suspect that i stole the dog?

I have read about two totally opposite ways to deal with fear aggression. I am curious what people think is the best solution.
I have a 7month old Shepherd/lab mix who we found 2.5 months ago wandering the streets. She is in good health and is now spayed. She was obviously mistreated because she has an unnatural fear of strangers. When we go on walks or to Petsmart she barks and growls when people try to approach her. She is totally docile inside with her own family (includes a 5 yr old and a cat).
Is it better to give her lots of positive attention when in these situations (so she associates strangers with good things) or give her the "no bark and/or sit" command so she knows that this behavior is not acceptable.
I just don't want her to think that it is OK to act this way towards people.
So which way should I go, positive or negative reaction when she acts this way.??
Also any other advice/websites/books would be great.
Thanks.

A couple of days ago, it was really warm up here, so I brought my Austrailian Sheperd Lab mix inside my house where it was cooler. Later that night, I came home from band practice, and I was putting him back into his outside inclosure, and he attacked me. I struggled with him for about 10 minutes, trying to put him in the cage. It was strange for him, because he's never acted like that. I didn't want to let him go because he was acting so strange and I was afraid of what he would do if I did let him go and run through the neighborhood. I finally just let him go, and he bolted back to my house door and went back inside with me. By this time, I was dripping blood from my arm and nose.

I didn't get any serious injuries, but I don't understand why he suddenly decided to attack me. Does anyone have any idea why this could have happened? I've also been afraid to go near him again, so my mom's been taking care of him with no problem. Should I try going near him again?

She runs around all day, and always with her claws out! She's always climbing on things. She attacks my feet all night. Today she ran across my boyfriends face when he was laying on the sofa and he got scratched. I clipped her toenails, so that should help. She's only about 4 months old.

I adopted my dog from a shelter nearby about 4 years ago.
I was not informed he gets seizures, so I have put up with that and have lessened the occurences by watching what he eats.
I also believe that anxiety brings them on, such as if I leave him for a day or two.
I found I cannot leave him at home anymore because he would be alone and I am a prisoner to my own home because of this.
He is a large husky/collie of about 150 pounds. I made a kennel where he can also go into the garage but he now goes over the top of the kennel and gets loose. If he is locked into the garage, he literally uses his claws to claw his way into the house through a wood-paneled door. He is a house dog and feels he needs to be in the house, I guess. But, I live on a highway and it's very dangerous for him and others when he darts across the highway.
I'm now 59 and I want to be able to start some traveling next year. I don't have anyone to leave him with and don't want him by himself.
What do you think?

I need to know which kind of Golden Retriever is the one that keeps a stylish, young-looking face even until it grows old. Because there is one type of Golden Retriever that has more of falling face, and drools a bit; specially as they grow older. OK, I need to know which type is the first one. It's also normally very light gold colour shade and it doesn't drool as much as the other one. Thanks

Well i have three cats and we recently moved into a new home. we have lived here for about three months. My cats are used to the home. They are outside inside cats so they are all spayed and nudered. We got a doggy door flap so they can go in and out throughout the day (we lock it at night so they stay in) we trained the 2 cats to use the grass or bushes outside to do there "buisness". My other cat on the other hand is a scaredy cat and will not go near the cat door. For her to go outside we have to sit by the front door and leave it open. Yet she will run back inside if someone walks or drives by so she wont stay out long The problem is we dont have a litter box inside and we would but we dont want to have to deal with all the cleaning and the smell So at night if she has to go she'll go in the tub. Thats not so bad i can clean it up Well she is ALWAYS in my parents room so she does her buisness in their tub. Well im worried shes going to do it on the carpet and my dad will get rid o
